WWE has confirmed that Drake’s hit track “Nokia” will serve as the official theme song for WrestlePalooza 2025. The announcement was made during the September 12 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, setting the stage for a major Premium Live Event on September 20 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Unlike past selections where WWE has leaned on remixes or custom edits, this year the company is sticking with the original track. The move adds a modern, high-profile edge to WrestlePalooza’s presentation, signaling WWE’s ambition to elevate the event into a marquee showcase alongside WrestleMania and SummerSlam.

John Cena vs Brock Lesnar headlines the return of WrestlePalooza

The 2025 edition of WrestlePalooza brings back the storied event name once produced by ECW, now repackaged by WWE for a new era.

Headlining the card is the final showdown between John Cena and Brock Lesnar, a rivalry that has defined eras of WWE.

Cena, who fell short in his Undisputed WWE Championship defense at SummerSlam, was brutally attacked by a returning Lesnar.

Their feud reignited instantly, with Lesnar costing Cena a match on SmackDown just weeks later. WWE quickly confirmed that the two icons will settle their score one last time in Indianapolis.

With Cena entering what is widely considered his final run, and Lesnar returning for the first time since 2023, the stakes could not be higher.

Elsewhere, The Usos reunite to face Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, following months of escalating tension. The storyline has brought back the brothers as a united front, giving fans a high-profile tag team battle that adds depth to the card.

Another marquee attraction is the mixed tag team match featuring CM Punk and AJ Lee against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. For Lee, it marks her first match since 2015, adding a historic layer of anticipation. Punk’s ongoing war of words with Rollins and Lynch ensures this will be one of the night’s most emotionally charged contests.
