Top five things The Rock can do at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 PLE

The Final Boss made his return on the 02/21 episode of SmackDown

As announced by the WWE, ‘The Final Boss, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson made his return on the 02/21 episode of Friday Night SmackDown which aired from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisana. During his appearance, Johnson announced the official date and location of the 42nd WrestleMania.

Following the announcement, Johnson called out the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and made him an offer that seemingly puzzled the champion. The Final Boss offered Rhodes the opportunity to become “his champion,” stating that it would boost his career and create opportunities for his family.

Johnson ended the segment urging him to consider the offer and giving him time to think, with the final decision to be made at Elimination Chamber PLE. This also confirmed Johnson’s appearance at the PLE on March 1.

Let us now take a look at the top five things Johnson can do in his appearance at the Elimination Chamber PLE in Toronto.

5. Introduce a new supervillain arc like ‘Mr. McMahon’

The heel turn of the then WWE CO and co-founder Vince McMahon into an “evil boss” where he introduced the character, Mr. McMahon is one of the most iconic storylines in the promotion. Johnson is already one of the members of the board of directors of TKO, WWE’s parent company.

Johnson could do similar to what McMahon did and introduce a similar ‘evil boss’ character, he already teased a heel turn during the promo on the 02/21 show. The Final Boss could embrace the heel turn fully and kick off a storyline with him as the boss recruiting stars, he might kick off the recruitment at the PLE.

4. Turn Cody Rhodes’ heel

The Final Boss made it clear that he didn’t want Cody Rhodes‘ title (the Undisputed WWE Championship) but his soul. If Rhodes accepts the offer and joins forces with Johnson this will likely be a heel turn for the widely beloved champion. Aligning with Johnson will put him in a major position of power in the WWE.

3. Attack Cody Rhodes if he rejects the offer

While there is a chance of the American Nightmare accepting Johnson’s offer at the Chamber PLE. However, if Rhodes rejects the offer he would be making a very powerful enemy and the Final Boss might not appreciate Rhodes rejecting the lucrative offer.

The Final Boss could target the Undisputed Champion, as Cody rejecting the offer would cause a major embarrassment for The Rock and he might ambush Cody leaving him in a bloody mess.

2. Callout Roman Reigns

The mere thought of a clash between Johnson and ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns makes fans excited. While there have been teases and rumors the clash never materialized. However, at the PLE next month Johnson might call out Roman Reigns setting up their iconic clash at the WrestleMania 41 PLE.

1. Recruit the winner of the Elimination Chamber match

If Johnson decides to introduce the ‘evil boss’ arc at the Elimination Chamber PLE, he will likely need mercenaries to enforce his authority. The Rock can kick off his recruitment at the PLE itself and might consider recruiting the winner of the Chamber match to do his dirty work.
