Four things WWE must avoid at Crown Jewel 2025 in Australia

This year’s Crown Jewel PLE will take place in Australia!
Following the conclusion of Wrestlepalooza, WWE started promoting their second-to-last PLE of 2025, which is Crown Jewel 2025. The seventh edition of the PLE will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia, Australia.
This is the first time the Crown Jewel PLE is being held outside of Saudi Arabia, as all six previous events have been held in the capital city of Riyadh. Nevertheless, the men’s and women’s Crown Jewel Championship will once again be the focal point of the show.
As WWE continues to build towards the PLE, let us take a look at the top four things that the promotion should avoid doing.
4. Poor match execution

The recent offering from WWE, which ushered in the ESPN era for WWE PLEs, was the inaugural edition of Wrestlepalooza. The show, despite massive expectations, had poor matches except the one featuring Stephanie Vaquer and Iyo Sky for the vacant title.
Even ESPN criticised the show in their review, giving it a grade of ‘C’. While WWE is ahead in creating a good match card for the upcoming Crown Jewel PLE, these matches would have to deliver as promised to make it a memorable night for fans in Perth.

3. High-stakes matches
The promotion has announced four matches featuring some of the biggest names, including John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, and more. However, there is still room left for WWE to book high-stakes matches with titles on the line.
While the World Champions are preoccupied with the Crown Jewel title clash, the promotion can book mid-card title clashes for the show.
2. Reusing the Bloodline story
‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns made his surprising return on the recent episode of Monday Night Raw to aid Jey and Jimmy Uso in the tornado tag team match against The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed). However, what irked many fans was WWE reusing the Bloodline storyline.
Reigns was seen embracing Jey and telling him that Raw is his turf, and as we know, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Jimmy was seen in the backdrop, having a flashback, thinking not again. Nevertheless, the Bloodline story is one of the most successful in recent times, but reusing it would just be lazy.

1. Another Cody Rhodes’ win

In the Champion vs Champion clash for the men’s Crown Jewel title, Cody Rhodes will battle his counterpart from Raw, Seth Rollins. Rhodes is the defending Champion as he defeated Gunther last year to become the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion.
However, WWE opting for Rhodes to win again would only turn fans against him, as they might have learned during any babyface run who kept winning for so long without proper storylines. On the other hand, Rollins not only has been a workhorse who deserves the honor, but WWE also has multiple intriguing ways to let Seth win the title, creating new storylines and generating interest among fans.
