These TNA stars could be a great addition to WWE SmackDown.

WWE SmackDown has been one of the prime shows for the Stamford-based promotion since its launch in 1999. The blue brand has been famous for being a stepping stone for superstars who became legendary names and seemingly continue to do so today.

However, an interesting twist is the addition of TNA stars to SmackDown as part of their long-term partnership deal with WWE. So, here are the top five names that could help the blue roster in terms of better storylines.

5. The IInspiration

Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, now known as The Inspiration, started their main roster WWE career on SmackDown back in 2018.

They have gone on to achieve a lot outside the company and recently appeared in WWE NXT to a huge pop. Their addition to the SmackDown roster could significantly benefit the women’s division storylines.

Joe Hendry is arguably one of the biggest TNA draws of the modern era. His captivating personality and music skills led to him making appearances in NXT and even competing at WrestleMania 41.

As part of WWE’s deal with TNA, they could bring his star power to SmackDown, adding fresh air to the existing storylines.

3. Mike Santana

Mike Santana is one of the top names in TNA today. The reigning World Champion led Team TNA against Team NXT at the Showdown. His exhilarating and captivating style could be a good fit for the creative plans on SmackDown that have seemingly been struggling for a while

2. The Hardy Boyz

Matt and Jeff, popularly known as The Hardy Boyz, are one of the greatest tag teams of all time, and are still active in-ring performers today.

The reigning TNA World Tag Team titles recently captured the NXT Tag Team titles, and their appearances on the show were must-see. They could return to SmackDown to elevate the tag team competition, which could lead to some spectacular in-ring showdowns against the current division.

1. Nic Nemeth

Nic Nemeth had been a cornerstone for SmackDown for years during his WWE tenure. He left the company a few years ago and ascended to become a top attraction for TNA.

With his roaring success and resurgence, he could prove to be an excellent addition to the show and wrestle against rising stars to deliver compelling storylines and matches.
