The May 28, 2024 episode of WWE NXT is scheduled to be aired live from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida, United States.

With just two weeks from the history making, NXT Battleground 2024, the black and yellow brand has been building the storyline angles and booking the potential contenders for the matches. With just hours before the show, here are three things to watch out for on the 5/28 episode of NXT.

3. WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship Qualifiers

This week’s show will feature the final set of the NXT Women’s North American Championship Qualifier matches. Where Michin will face Tatum Paxley, and Kelani Jordan will face Wren Sinclair. The winners will be joining Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Fallon Henley & Jaida Parker.

This will confirm all the contenders for the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Championship Ladder Match for NXT Battleground 2024. All the competitors could be involved in some kind of segment later the same night. So, who will qualify for the ladder match at Battleground is also one to watch out for.

2. Who attacked Noam Dar?

Two weeks ago, Noam Dar was found attacked by an unknown assailant backstage and it became a debate last week. Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans were the two suspects, however Lash Legend defended Trick. As the original attacker is being a mystery, the attacker could be found this week.

The two suspects, Trick and Je’Von, could likely reveal the attacker after their match with Gallus. So who attacked Naom Dar is the one to watch out for.

1. Roxanne Perez’s next Opponent

WWE NXT General Manager is not pleased with Roxanne Perez’ attitude in recent weeks and has been giving mystery opponents against her. This week, when Roxanne returns to TV, Ava will be announcing her opponent for Battleground 2024. We could expect someone, who Roxanne would never think off. So who will challenge Roxanne for the NXT Women’s Championship at Battleground 2024 will be the one to watch out for this week.

Apart from this American Rapper Sexy Redd would appear on the show, Trick Williams will team up with Je’Von Evans to take on Mark Coffey and Wolfgang of Gallus, NXT North American Championship has multiple opponents and the champion could address them.
