This will be the 12th edition of the King of the Ring PLE

The King and Queen of the Ring is the upcoming Premium Live Event (PLE) hosted by WWE. This is the 12th King of the Ring Event, however it is hosted under a new name. This year’s King & Queen of the Ring Event will take place on May 25, 2024 at the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The highlight of this show is the crowning of the King and Queen of the Ring, by hosting the final matches of the tournament.

Apart from the tournament finals, WWE has booked two championship matches on the Backlash fallout episode (May 6, 2024) of Monday Night Raw. Here are the two confirmed matches for the most anticipated Saudi Arabia show.

On the May 6, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw, Chad Gable faced Bronson Reed after last week’s chaos between Reed, Gable & Sami. Gable went on to dominate Reed during the match, where Sami Zayn came from nowhere and attacked Chad Gable & Bronson Reed to end their match in a no contest. Following the interference, all three fought each other, where Reed was the one who was standing tall.

After the chaos, Reed spoke his intentions to Bronson Reed saying that he is only concerned about winning the title. Following that Sami Zayn went on to address his feud with Gable & Reed and eventually offered them a title shot in a Triple Threat Match at King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia.

It is expected that WWE could book more non-tournament matches for the PLE in the upcoming shows.
