Some big plans are at work for WrestleMania 2026.

WWE is currently preparing to deliver the final main roster PLE of 2025, Survivor Series, which will close out the show in style as the promotion focuses on 2026. However, a new report has revealed that WWE is already making massive plans for the ‘Grandest Stage’ WrestleMania.

The 42nd edition of WrestleMania is set to emanate live from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will take place over two nights, April 18 (Saturday) and April 19 (Sunday), 2026.

According to a new report, the Stamford-based promotion has reportedly been making big plans for the current WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. She captured the title after defeating Iyo Sky at Wrestlepalooza.

Stephanie Vaquer could face two of the biggest names in pro wrestling

According to a recent report from BodySlam.net, Rhea Ripley and the current Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch have been discussed as potential WrestleMania opponents for Vaquer.

Although there is no clarity on who might be her opponent, there is currently ample time for WrestleMania 2025. Notably, WWE planning to pit Vaquer against established names like Ripley and Lynch is clearly aiming for a marquee match at the ‘Grandest Stage’.

Vaquer recently defeated Tiffany Stratton at Crown Jewel 2025 to capture the 2025 Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.

Women’s IC Champion Becky Lynch is currently set to defend the title against Maxxine Dupri on next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Lynch is also reported to partake in the women’s WarGames match, leading the heel team against AJ Lee led babyface team.
