Former UFC title contender spotted at WWE Performance Center

Michael Chandler makes another WWE appearance.
Former UFC title challenger Michael Chandler was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, on Monday, August 10, adding another intriguing chapter to his long-standing interest in professional wrestling.
The visit was first reported by False Finish, which confirmed that Chandler was at the WWE facility. However, there are currently no details on why he was there or whether he participated in any in-ring training.
Chandler’s presence is noteworthy because he has repeatedly expressed interest in eventually transitioning from MMA to professional wrestling once his fighting career comes to an end.
Michael Chandler has previously discussed a WWE move

The MMA veteran revealed during Fanatics Fest in June 2025 that he had spoken directly with Triple H about potentially joining WWE. Chandler said at the time that both sides were working toward making the opportunity happen.
His interest in WWE is not new. He has continued discussing a possible transition to wrestling in the months since, while also identifying potential opponents he would like to face inside the squared circle.
Chandler has already appeared on WWE programming. During the February 19, 2024, episode of Monday Night RAW, he was handed a microphone from the crowd and called out Conor McGregor, referencing their highly anticipated UFC rivalry.
The former lightweight title challenger has also mentioned Logan Paul as a potential WWE opponent and previously expressed interest in competing at SummerSlam 2026. That opportunity ultimately did not materialize.
Michael Chandler remains on the UFC roster
Despite his WWE aspirations, Chandler remains officially under contract with the UFC. His most recent fight came on June 14 at UFC Freedom 250, where he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Mauricio Ruffy.
That result leaves his immediate MMA future uncertain, making his latest visit to the WWE Performance Center particularly interesting.
For now, there is no confirmation that Chandler’s appearance signals an imminent WWE debut or a formal agreement between the two sides. Still, given his previous conversations with WWE and his repeated interest in making the transition, another visit to the Performance Center is likely to generate plenty of speculation.
