The new television special is set to premiere on Tuesday!

TMZ is set to bring a new television special that focuses on the life and complicated legacy of late WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. The TV Special is set to premiere on Tuesday, August 12, on FOX.

Titled “TMZ Presents: The Real Hulk Hogan,” the documentary marks the first major special to air since the icon’s passing on July 24, 2025. ‘The Immortal’ Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, passed away on Thursday, July 24, at the age of 71.

As per the official press release, the programme wants to provide a comprehensive look at the WWE Hall of Famer’s legendary career.

The program will delve into how Hogan “forever changed professional wrestling and became one of the biggest icons in America,” while also taking a closer look at the “tragedies and self-inflicted wounds” that “complicate his legacy.”

The TV special will feature interviews with multiple big names in the entertainment industry who knew Hogan personally.

“Hulk’s closest friends, competitors, and fellow champions discuss how one man, Terry Bollea, changed pop culture forever,” 

The lineup of interviewees in the special includes actor Sylvester Stallone, former WWE CEO & Chairman Vince McMahon, WWE Hall of Famers Mick Foley, Bill Goldberg, Jimmy Hart, and Mark Henry. In addition, the show will also feature stars from the current WWE roster.

Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Jacob Fatu, a member of the legendary Anoa’i family, are confirmed to appear on the show, honoring Hogan’s legacy and impact on pro wrestling.

TMZ Presents: The Real Hulk Hogan is set to premiere on Tuesday, August 12, from 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT on the FOX network.

Additionally, the show will be available for streaming the next day on Hulu, Fox.com, Tubi, and various on-demand platforms for customers of major cable and satellite providers.

The special is executive produced by Harvey Levin, Ryan Regan, Don Nash, Charles Latibeaudiere, and Jess Fusco, with Susan Favre credited as co-executive producer.
