The stage construction is underway as the PLE approaches.
The week has finally arrived, and WWE is gearing up to deliver the final PLE of 2025, Survivor Series WarGames, which is set to close out the year with absolute bangers.
The promotion is currently set to deliver the go-home show of Monday Night Raw, which will be followed by the go-home show of SmackDown on Friday, before the PLE.
The 39th edition of Survivor Series: WarGames will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. The show will feature stars from the Raw and SmackDown brands, and it will also feature the two WarGames matches.
The promotion has announced multiple matches for the final PLE of 2025, including the two marquee WarGames matches in the men’s and women’s divisions. Stephanie Vaquer is set to defend the Women’s World title against Nikki Bella.
On the other hand, John Cena will put the Intercontinental title against Dominik Mysterio in a rematch. Additionally, this will be his final WWE PLE appearance.
Petco Park takeover for WarGames is underway
With just five days left before the PLE, fans are eager to see what WWE has planned for the show’s stage setup. Videos shared by fans on social media show the stage construction in Petco Park, with cages, lighting setup, and seating arrangement underway.
In another video taken from the crowd stands balcony, the stage construction appears to be going as planned. With the open stadium layout, it looks even grander, reminiscent of some of WWE’s biggest shows in open-roof venues.
Although the videos only show the early stages of construction, fans are eagerly awaiting the final stage reveal and hoping WWE learns from its recent mistakes of creating bland, screen-heavy setups.
The WarGames advantage matches will take place this week

The men’s WarGames match will feature CM Punk, The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso), Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns in the babyface team. They will face the team led by Paul Heyman, which consists of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and Brock Lesnar.
The advantage match for the men’s WarGames match is set for the November 24 episode of Raw and will be a tag team match. However, WWE has not revealed the participants for the match.
On the other hand, the women’s WarGames match will feature Rhea Ripley, AJ Lee, Iyo Sky, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair in the babyface team. They will battle the opposing team, which consists of Nia Jax, Lash Legend, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), and Becky Lynch.
The women’s WarGames advantage match has already taken place between Asuka and Charlotte Flair, with Flair securing the win for her team. The match, along with the November 28 episode, was pre-taped during last week’s SmackDown to give talents time to celebrate Thanksgiving.
