WrestleMania 40 is the upcoming professional wrestling event hosted by WWE. It is the 40th edition of WrestleMania, which is scheduled to take place two-night on April 6 & 7, 2024 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is the first time WrestleMania is hosted in the state of Pennsylvania since WrestleMania XV in 1999. This is also the first WrestleMania after TKO merger & without the McMahon family in majority control.

Being the longest running and most successful professional wrestling event, WWE has been planning to make the WrestleMania 40 one of the grandest of all time. With just days away from the grandest show, WWE has officially revealed the WrestleMania XL set in Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

WrestleMania 40 set revealed

WWE on their social media officially revealed the WrestleMania XL set, which is presented by WWE 2K24. Kayla Braxton & Jackie Redmond hosted the set reveal in Lincoln Financial Field. They set the hype for the reveal and introduced The Ninja Kidz of “Ninja Kidz TV” (Payton Delu Myler, Bryton Myler, Ashton Myler & Paxton Miller) to reveal the WrestleMania 40 set. They made their entry to the ring showcasing extreme gymnastics. As all the four assembled inside the ring all performed a back-flip with Payton doing a split, lightened the WrestleMania XL set, with mind-blowing pyro works.

The top of the entrance way has a “WRESTLEMANIA” name board with a giant “XL” on the side of the entrance way elevated in the front, representing WrestleMania 40. The ring is surrounded by four pillars and has a roof over it. It seems like the wrestlers need to walk a long way to the ring. The stadium looks huge, that it could occupy more than 90,000 people at the same time for both the nights.

WrestleMania XL matches

WWE has officially booked thirteen matches for the show. With just five days away from WrestleMania, Night 1 features seven matches, where three of them are championship matches. Night 2 features six matches, where four of them are championship matches. Every championship in the main roster is defended on the line except the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

The set reveal and the match card has set the major hype for the biggest professional wrestling show. Will the matches meet the expectations? We need to wait and watch.
