The NXT Champion Trick Williams will defend his title against Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground Match. The match is scheduled for the NXT Halloween Havoc 2024.

The fifth edition of the Halloween Havoc show will be held on October 27, 2024, at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The show features some of the top stars from NXT.

Williams is enjoying a second reign as NXT’s top dog, but standing in his way is the same Superstar he dethroned, the boisterous Page.

On the October 15 edition of NXT, ‘All Ego’ won a No. 1 Contenders Triple Threat Match over Wes Lee and Je’Von Evans, spun the Halloween Havoc wheel, and hit Williams with a light fixture.

The wheel landed on a Devil’s Playground Match, indicating that the bitter adversaries would face off in a chaotic rematch to claim the title.

A Devil’s Playground match is another way of saying No Holds Barred match it is also similar to a Street Fight style of match where weapons are allowed.

It has a close relation to the Hell in a Cell match but the term emphasizes an extreme, no-holds-barred environment where anything can happen.

The Devil’s Playground is a no-disqualification, no-countout, falls-anywhere match, where the primary objective (unless stated otherwise) is to secure victory by pinfall or submission.

In other words, the fight between Williams and Page is going to be a violent and chaotic one with a lot of weapons being used throughout the match.
