Oba Femi answered the open challenge.
Seth Rollins once again kicked off the March 16 episode of Monday Night Raw, which emanated from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. Paul Heyman then appeared, introducing Brock Lesnar, who took out the army of masked men to confront Rollins.
However, before things could turn chaotic, the lights went out, and Oba Femi appeared. Femi stepped into the ring, facing off against Lesnar, before slamming him down on the mat with a fall from grace.
Femi then pointed toward the WrestleMania sign, and commentary discussed whether Femi had accepted Lesnar’s open challenge for WrestleMania. Later in the show, WWE confirmed the match between Lesnar and Femi for WrestleMania 42.
Heyman bringing out Lesnar led many fans to believe that WWE will be building towards Rollins vs Lesnar at Mania, a match which reports suggested earlier. However, the match announcement has now left Rollins’ plans for the ‘Grandest Stage’ up in the air.
Who will Seth Rollins face at WrestleMania 42?

The reports that suggested WrestleMania plans for Brock also revealed that backup plans were in place if Bron Breakker doesn’t return in time for Mania, then Rollins might end up facing either Logan Paul or Brock Lesnar.
While Lesnar is now set to face Femi, this leaves Logan Paul, who was attacked by Rollins in his return at Elimination Chamber, planting the seeds for a clash if Bron doesn’t make it in time.
However, on the same show, in a backstage segment, when Austin Theory and Logan Paul approached Paul Heyman, stating they planned to take care of Seth Rollins. Heyman stated that it would be the worst thing they could do, explaining that Rollins’ actions were a calculated move.
He reminded them that Rollins had attacked and beaten him, a 60-year-old man, without facing consequences, and what they really needed was leverage. Heyman outlined the plan: they should take the tag titles from The Usos, which would then allow him to secure opportunities for them at singles titles.
This means that Logan Paul and Austin Theory will now go after the World Tag Team titles currently held by the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso). WWE has also announced a tag team match between the two tag teams for next week’s Raw.
The storyline will likely end up in a tag title clash at WrestleMania, which once again leaves Rollins without an opponent for the ‘Grandest Stage.’
WWE almost confirming both matches for Mania points towards a positive sign regarding Bron Breakker’s return. Breakker has been out of action since early February after having surgery to repair a “serious” hernia injury.
However, both the backup plans being utilized on the show likely mean Breakker making his return in time to confront Seth Rollins, leading to a clash between the two at Mania. The clash has been anticipated since Breakker turned on Rollins, kicking him out of the Vision faction.
Fans have since been anticipating the clash when Rollins returned. Before Rollins’ return, Breakker got injured, throwing the planned match into limbo, but it now seems like that WWE will be reviving this feud once Bron returns in the coming weeks.
