CM Punk and Roman Reigns had a tense meeting with Paul Heyman on SmackDown
It’s no secret that ‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk and ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns aren’t too excited to be joining forces for the upcoming WarGames clash against the rogue Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa.
‘The Wiseman’ Paul Heyman made a last effort on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown as he brought the two stars to a table to settle their differences.
During tonight’s episode of the Blue brand, a cinematic vignette aired featuring Heyman, The OTC, and The Second City Saint all seated together.
The Wiseman pleaded with both stars to trust each other as both have a lot to lose in this matchup. In his conversation with Roman, Heyman warned that if they don’t accept Punk’s help, everything they’ve worked for could be lost.
While speaking to Punk, Heyman stated that if he didn’t help the OG faction Sikoa would finish off the OG faction and then come after Punk.
CM Punk may be seeking the services of the Wiseman
The Wiseman reminded them that divided, they would all fall, but united, they would survive. Punk reiterated that he was there for Heyman and wanted revenge for what Sikoa did to his friend, adding that he was willing to discuss this again after the WWE Survivor Series.
Reigns and Punk reiterated ‘one time’ and ‘one favor.’ The OTC stated that he owed Punk a favor, but Punk disagreed, saying that ‘our Wiseman’ would owe them a favor instead.
This took Reigns by surprise when asked Heyman what the favor was, Paul didn’t answer the question and instead said they would have “all the time in the world” to discuss it if they got through the Survivor Series this Saturday.
Although, it has not been revealed what the favor is there might be a possibility of a title shot for the Second City Saint in exchange for his help at WarGames.
Months ago in June in the absence of Reigns, Heyman had a moment with Punk, where Heyman revealed a surprising request when Punk asked him to reveal the “favor” he wanted if he left Chicago to avoid an attack by Sikoa. With a hint of desperation, Heyman pleaded, “Take me with you!” – leaving Punk and the WWE universe stunned.
After the final PLE, there’s a chance that the Second City Saint could leverage his favor to take the Wiseman for himself. The promotion can set up a match between the two and the winner gets to keep the Wiseman and his services.
What in your opinion is the favor that The Second City Saint asked? Do you think Paul Heyman will betray his Tribal Chief at Survivor Series? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
