When will Roman Reigns make his WWE return?

OTC 1 has been absent from WWE programming since Crown Jewel.
In the first match of the 2025 edition of Crown Jewel, Bronson Reed, with the help of Bron Breakker, outmauvared The Uso to defeat ‘OTC 1’ Roman Reigns. Since the loss, Reigns has been absent from WWE programming and was visibly irked by The Usos.
After the loss, Reigns reminded Jimmy and Jey that he had told them he would do this on his own because the whole world believed he couldn’t accomplish anything without help. Reigns added that he loved them, but didn’t want to see them again until Christmas.
This was the last time the fans saw Reigns, who had been missing from WWE programming. However, reports have suggested his involvement in the upcoming WarGames match, which will be the marquee match for the upcoming Survivor Series 2025.
Roman Reigns might return to aid CM Punk

Following Seth Rollins’ injury, GM Adam Pearce stripped him of the World Heavyweight title, with CM Punk and Jey Uso now set to battle for the vacant title at the November 1 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, the shadow of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed looms large over the match.
There is a massive possibility of them attacking the winner of the match at SNME, which, per rumors, might be CM Punk. The absence of Rollins also means WWE now has to scrap the highly anticipated clash between Rollins and Reigns at WrestleMania 42.
However, Reigns’ making his return at SNME to aid Punk and even Jey, against Breakker and Reed, would not only set the stage for the WarGames match, which reportedly featured the three stars, but would also be used to set up the match between Roman and Breakker in Rollins’ absence.
WWE could also hold Reigns’ return and move forward with the return of Brock Lesnar and Austin Theory, the two reported members on the Vision’s side of the WarGames match. This would make Roman’s return more impactful, while addressing the underlying tensions between him and Punk as well as between him and Jimmy Uso.
Similar to last year, Punk and Reigns would once again have to team up to defeat the bigger evil; however, this time the ball might be in Reigns’ court, and Punk might need his assistance to beat the Vision.
No matter the stage or place, Reigns’ return is going to earth earth-shattering with major implications, especially in the Reigns vs The Vision saga. The return would also see WWE further unravel the Bloodline saga, which has been revived in recent months.
What was Roman Reigns’ last WWE appearance?
Reigns’ last WWE appearance came during the 2025 edition of the Crown Jewel PLE, where he lost to Bronson Reed.
Is there any update on Reigns’ return?
As of now, the promotion has not provided any update on his return, but reports suggest his participation in the WarGames match at the Survivor Series PLE next month.
