Who are the free agents after 2024 WWE Draft?

The 2024 Draft is officially over

The 2024 WWE Draft is officially over and the superstar shakeup was filled with a number of retainments, switching brands, NXT call-ups, returns and much more. WWE hosted the Superstar Shakeup for two nights starting from the April 26, 2024 episode of SmackDown and on the April 29, 2024 episode of Raw.

A total of 40 drafts were done on the Television and 16 wrestlers were drafted after the shows from the eligible draft pools of both the nights. 

However a number of stars who are currently under WWE contract, but didn’t get featured in WWE Draft pools. The Unassigned wrestlers are called Free Agents, who can step in on either show unless they got assigned to a particular brand.

The Free Agent concept was not often used during Vince McMahon’s reign. But, this has changed during the Triple-H reign. Here we take a look at all the Free Agents after the WWE Draft 2024.

  • Dexter Lumis (Inactive)
  • Erik (Injured)
  • Gable Steveson (Inactive)
  • Jimmy Uso (Injured)
  • John Cena (Hollywood)
  • MVP (Inactive)
  • Omos (Inactive)
  • Roman Reigns (Hiatus)
  • The Rock (Hollywood)
  • Uncle Howdy (Teasing return)
  • Alexa Bliss (Maternity Leave)
  • Carmella (Maternity Leave)
  • Charlotte Flair (Injured)
  • Nikki Cross (Inactive)
  • Raquel Rodriguez (Injured)
  • Rhea Ripley (Injured)
  • Shotzi (Injured)
  • Sonya Deville (Injured)
  • Tamina (Inactive)

Most of the WWE Superstars who are on the list are either injured or inactive from the WWE Television. Roman Reigns was featured in the Night 1 Draft pool but voluntarily withdrawn himself from the process. However, The Bloodline with Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga & Paul Heyman got drafted to SmackDown. Jimmy Uso’s Bloodline status is unknown and he also becomes ineligible to draft, as he is injured.

Rhea Ripley was injured and became ineligible for the draft, however her teammates got retained on the Raw brand.

Uncle Howdy has been teasing his WWE return on both Raw and SmackDown with his glitches and hidden QR codes. However, there isn’t any update on where he will be landing.

Omos, MVP & Gable Steveson are active in dark matches, but they were inactive on Television since last year. Brock Lesnar’s status with WWE is unknown and there isn’t any update he will be returning to the company or not.
