After winning the women’s gauntlet match, Bayley, along with Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria, were set to battle the Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the tag title on Night Two of WrestleMania 41 PLE.

However, the Role Model was ambushed backstage before the show, forcing her out of the match and leaving Valkyria without a tag partner for the title clash.

The stage was set as Valkyria made her entrance, followed by Morgan and Rodriguez, and joining Valkyria in the title clash was none other than Becky Lynch, who made her highly anticipated return after almost a year of absence to team up with fellow Irish star.

Lynch and Valkyria emerged victorious in the clash as they shattered Morgan and Rodriguez’s third title reign and became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, the celebration faded quickly as Morgan and Rodriguez defeated the newly crowned champions in a rematch on the Raw after Mania show the next day.

The win saw Vlakyria and Lynch’s title reign coming to an end just after one day, while Morgan and Rodriguez captured the titles for a record-breaking third time. After the match, Becky surprised fans as she ambushed her own tag partner, turning heel in the process.

Becky Lynch explained her actions on last night’s Monday Night Raw

Following the turn on Lyra Valkyria, Lynch was scheduled to explain her actions on the April 28 episode of Monday Night Raw. However, Becky not only explained her actions but dropped a bombshell on fans as she mentioned the attack on Bayley.

Lynch confessed that she was the one who attacked Bayley; she admitted to blindsiding Bayley at WrestleMania 41 and claimed Bayley had wronged her for years without ever offering an apology.

Lynch also accused Bayley of forgetting what the wrestling business is about, even mocking Bayley’s past remarks questioning Lynch’s star power.

Lynch then had a heated interaction with Valkryia, which ended with the Women’s IC Champion putting the belt on line against Becky at the upcoming Backlash 2025 PLE. Valkyria is hungry to teach Lynch a lesson as she finally sees Lynch for what she is and is ready to make her pay.
