Mr. Iguana attracted a lot of attention during his Money in the Bank 2025 appearance. WWE reportedly has great plans for the superstar.

At the co-branded WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide Worlds Collide 2025 event, Mr. Iguana joined up with Aero Star and Octagon Jr. to take on Lince Dorado and LWO (Dragon Lee & Cruz Del Toro). During the battle, Iguana elicited a strong reaction from the audience, who adored his unorthodox moveset.

What was next? He appeared on screen during WWE Money in the Bank 2025 PLE and earned another round of applause from those in attendance when he appeared onscreen during the event.

Who is Mr Iguana?

Mr. Iguana is a Mexican luchador enmascarado (A masked professional wrestler). He is currently signed to WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). He is widely recognized for his unorthodox style of wrestling.

Mr. Iguana made his debut on Mexico’s independent circuit in 2009, and his first appearance for CMLL was on October 11, 2015.

Following the WWE’s purchase of Lucha Libre AAA, Mr. Iguana was confirmed for the joint Worlds Collide event, teaming with Octagón Jr., Aero Star, and La Yesca to face Latino World Order (Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro) and Lince Dorado, whom they defeated.

As per Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the backstage reaction to Iguana during Worlds Collide influenced WWE’s decision to feature him at Money In The Bank.

There was reportedly a lot of appreciation for his performance, and one NXT insider told Sapp that the organization will push for him to make more appearances.

Iguana was also popular with WWE stars, who wanted to take photographs with him. He was apparently approached for many pictures while sitting behind the Money in the Bank commentary booth.

WWE executives also indicated that he was a “pleasure” to deal with and was willing to perform any type of promotional job that was required of him.

Fans were raving online after Mr. Iguana’s outstanding performance at WWE x AAA: Worlds Collide. In an action-packed trios battle, Mr. Iguana defeated Lince Dorado, LWO’s Cruz Del Toro, and Dragon Lee while teaming with Aero Star and Octagon Jr.

Following the show, Mr. Iguana rushed to social media to thank the fans.

He wrote, “Grateful and happy! Thanks for the love and support! Agradecido y feliz! Gracias por todo el cariño y el apoyo. I’ll see you all soon.”

However, not everything went easily for the luchador; throughout the bout, Lince Dorado targeted Mr. Iguana’s cherished stuffed iguana, eliciting a variety of emotions.

Dorado subsequently joked about the situation on X, writing, “No animals were hurt in the @wwe ring today!” Thank you, #WorldsCollide.“

Mr. Iguana heading to WWE Main Roster

Mr Iguana has revealed that WWE wants him to join the main roster:
