John Cena has a lot of reasons to participate in War Games.
The Franchise Player of WWE, John Cena, is set to have his final appearance at Survivor Series at the upcoming edition of the Premium Live Event. Like years before, it will take place under the War Games format on Saturday, November 29, at Petco Park in San Diego, California.
Two WarGames matches are set to take place between the Men’s and Women’s divisions at the event, and here are four reasons John Cena should compete in the multi-man double cage bout.
4. John Cena has never competed in a WarGames match

In his two-decade-long career, John Cena has never even come close to competing inside a WarGames match that has an illustrious history of its own. With Cena having participated in multiple stipulation matches, he could finally add WarGames at this year’s Survivor Series before putting an end to his career in December.

3. Greatest WarGames lineup
Following the events of the November 10 edition of Monday Night RAW, CM Punk, Jey Uso, and Cody Rhodes will square off against The Vision members, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, with Logan Paul joining them for the Men’s WarGames match.
With two slots open for both sides, The Vision could recruit Brock Lesnar to their ranks using Paul Heyman’s help. At the same time, their opposition could bring megastars like John Cena and Roman Reigns to their team, making it one of the greatest lineups in War Games history.
2. WarGames would give Cena a chance to battle multiple young stars

As John Cena only has three dates left in his farewell tour, he could only battle a select few WWE superstars. The WarGames match could give him a chance to battle next-generation stars like Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in the same match, tasting fresh competition before hanging up his boots.
1. Save a title bout for his last match

John Cena shocked the world by defeating Dominik Mysterio to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship and complete the Grand Slam.
WWE could now make his retirement match in December even more high-stakes by making it for the workhorse belt against his final opponent. Therefore, they should put him in the WarGames match to save the best for last at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Will Survivor Series 2025 be John Cena’s final PLE appearance?
Yes, Survivor Series will feature Cena’s final PLE appearance as he will only make a final in-ring appearance at SNME in December after that.
When and where will Survivor Series 2025 take place?
The 39th edition of Survivor Series will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California.
