John Cena defended the Undisputed title on May 10
Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena created history defeating Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41 (Sunday) to break the tie with Ric Flair and become the one and only 17-time Champion.
However, before the title win sunk in, a familiar opponent struck Cena, as his career-long rival, Randy Orton, took down the Champion with the RKO and challenged him to a title clash in his backyard, St. Louis, on May 10th.
Cena and Orton met for the first time since 2017, as they battled for the Undisputed title at Backlash 2025. The two career-long rivals clashed in the main event and delivered a performance reminiscent of their prime days.
However, Cena managed to pin Orton in the end after using some questionable methods and a brief interference from R-Truth, which saved Cena from the infamous punt kick. This was his first title defense after capturing the title last month.

Tonightâs episode of Monday Night Raw will emanate from Louisville
Tonightâs episode of Monday Night Raw is set to emanate live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.A. The episode will serve as the fallout show from Backlash 2025, which culminated on May 10 in St. Louis.
No, John Cena will likely not make an appearance on tonightâs show of the Red brand as he is not advertised for the show. Cena put R-Truth through a table during the Backlash post-show press conference, despite Truth having helped him during the match.
Reports already suggest a clash between the two at the upcoming Saturday Nightâs Main Event, and Cena will likely make an appearance on this weekâs fallout show of Friday Night SmackDown to build the feud.
The promotion has announced multiple appearances from stars like CM Punk and Jey Uso, two singles matches, and a tag team match have also been announced for WWE Raw tonight.
