The OTC retained the World title in Mexico City against Penta.
Despite the looming threat of 946 (Royce Keys, Bronco Nima & Lucien Price), Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight title defense against Penta in the main event of last week’s Raw in Mexico City played out without any outside interference.
Reigns pinned Penta in an explosive showdown that saw Penta come very close to a World title win. The win secured Reigns’ fourth successful title defense.
However, before the OTC could even celebrate the win, LA Knight came out and confronted Reigns, taking him down with a BFT. After the attack, Reigns, in a promo posted on his socials, announced a match between the two for Money in the Bank.
WWE later made the World title match official for MITB. In the aftermath, Knight is confirmed to appear on the upcoming September 21 edition of Raw, but will the OTC make an appearance to retaliate?

No, Roman Reigns will not appear on the upcoming September 21 edition of Monday Night Raw. Reigns is not advertised for the show, nor is he mentioned in the featured superstars list.
Additionally, as per WWE, Reigns will remain absent until the October 5 edition of Raw in St. Louis, Missouri, which will be the go-home show for the 2026 edition of Money in the Bank.
Barring any changes in his schedule, this means that a promo battle or a segment between Reigns and Knight will only happen once before their showdown in New Orleans. This will definetly hurt the feud and be another instance of WWE just relying on star power rather than a good storyline to carry a match.

The upcoming September 21 edition of Monday Night Raw emanates live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. Oba Femi, Seth Rollins, Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Sol Ruca, and Penta are listed as featured superstars for the show.
The 9/21 edition of the Red Brand will continue the Qualifying matches for the 2026 men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches.
La Catalina, Roxanne Perez, and Iyo Sky will collide in the fourth women’s MITB qualifier, while on the men’s side, Dragon Lee, Solo Sikoa, and Dominik Mysterio will battle for the fourth spot in the ladder match. Additionally, as noted, LA Knight is confirmed to appear.
