The 03/28 episode of SmackDown will emanate from London
In their final Friday Night SmackDown show of the European tour the Stamford-based promotion will arrive in London, England to deliver the 03/28 show of the Blue brand which will emanate live from the O2 Arena.
Ahead of the show, a huge contract signing involving Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and CM Punk has been set for the show. The three stars are set to clash in a triple-threat match at the 41st edition of the WrestleMania PLE in Las Vegas.
Appearing on the 03/24 episode of Monday Night Raw in Glasgow, Scotland, CM Punk addressed the crowd and reflected on the massive brawl that took place on the 03/21 show of SmackDown and went off on Rollins pointing out that he still works with children.
Punk also reminded both Rollins and Reigns that they have been unable to defeat him without the help of others and ended the segment reminding them that he was the one who brought them into the business, and he would be the one to take them out!
Punk then announced a three-way contract signing ahead of the grandest stage between the three on this week’s episode of SmackDown in London.
Two title matches are set for this week’s show in the O2 Arena
After winning the match against Jacob Fatu, Strowman bagged the number one contender spot for the United States title and will now battle the champion LA Knight on next week’s show. This will be Knight’s first title defense since recapturing the title on the 03/16 show of the Blue brand.
On the other hand, the newly crowned WWE Tag Team Champions, the Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) will defend the titles against the number one contenders Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince). Pretty Deadly defeated Los Garzas (Angel & Berto) on the March 07 episode to bag the number one contender spot.
How will the contract signing unfold in the O2 Arena on Friday? Can LA Knight fend off a giant like Braun Strowman to continue his new title reign? Share your thoughts and predictions for the announced matches in the comments section.
