Triple H has been in charge of WWE creative since 2022.

Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has been at the helm of WWE creative since 2022 and has provided fans with some iconic storylines as well as some lukewarm ones. However, one thing has been undeniable, and that is his taking the promotion to levels and heights never seen before.

However, in recent times, tensions between him and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson have been the talk of the town. Johnson, who sits on the board of TKO, doesn’t get along well with Levesque, according to rumors, which also suggested that Levesque might leave the company soon.

This speculation has now been amplified as pro wrestling veteran Vince Russo has predicted Triple H’s exit sooner than many people think.

What Happened?

During a conversation between Hannibal and Vince Russo, Hannibal noted that Cody Rhodes was openly talking about turning heel, something which stars like Hulk Hogan would not have been able to do under Vince McMahon’s regime.

Vince Russo replied to this, stating that TKO is planning a reality show featuring cameras in the writers’ room. He also claimed that TKO and The Rock will eventually phase out Triple H, marking the end of his time with WWE. Russo also pointed out how, for Vince McMahon, the wrestling business was about family, but for TKO, it’s not.

“With Vince McMahon, it was the wrestling business and it was the families and it was kayfabe. Its not the wrestling business to TKO, man. And that’s why you are seeing these changes. And that’s why bro, I keep saying this over and over and over and over and over again.

Eventually, they are not going to need Triple H. And, as soon as The Rock feels like he wants to take over, Rock is taking over. Rock is Hollywood. Rock is entertainment. Rock is buddies with these guys. Rock has known Ari Emanuel for years and years and years and the more and more and more they become an entertainment conglomerate, the more and more and more the wrestling goes away.

And that’s why I honestly believe, without a shadow of a doubt, Triple H’s time is sooner than many people think.“

Triple H ‘incredibly proud’ of CM Punk for apologizing to Saudi Arabia at WWE Night of Champions 2025

Speaking during the Night of Champions post-show with Byron Saxton and Jackie Redmond, Triple H reflected on CM Punk’s evolution as both a performer and a person. When asked about the match with John Cena and the surrounding story, he chose to focus on the emotional maturity Punk displayed.

“I was privileged to watch him grow as a human being, to step out here and apologize to the people of Saudi, to just cherish where he is at in life and his career and the things that he gets to do and the opportunities that he has, And I was incredibly proud of him.”

The Game acknowledged how far both Punk and Cena have come since their explosive rivalry fifteen years ago and praised the tone of mutual respect in their latest chapter.
