R-Truth & Calito recently announced their departure from WWE!
R-Truth shocked the entire pro wrestling world on Sunday, announcing that his contract with WWE will not be renewed. Shortly after the news broke and the fans were grappling with the reality, Judgment Day member Carlito also announced that his contract would not be renewed.
Just before the June 2 episode of Monday Night Raw, Valhalla (Sarah Logan) confirmed that WWE will not be renewing her contract, and she will be leaving the company once it expires.
These three back-to-back departures shocked both fans and superstars, who paid tribute to them in various ways, including on social media and during the episode of Monday Night Raw. Fan favorite R-Truth received an outpouring of love from fans, with chants urging for his return during Raw.
During the June 2 episode of Monday Night Raw, fans present in the BOK Center in Tulsa started chanting, “WE WANT TRUTH” and “What’s Up” chants during the matches and segments to rally the WWE in bringing back Truth.

More WWE talent cuts are possible following Valhalla’s release
Bryan Alvarez on the Tuesday episode of “Wrestling Observer Live,” discussed the recent departures and hinted that more exits might be on the way. Alvarez noted that following Sarah Logan’s (Valhalla) departure, he has “been told there might be others as well. So this might not be the end with Valhalla being released.”
The discussion turned to The Miz‘s current role on SmackDown, with Alvarez pointing out recent developments in the storyline as well as significant off-screen changes.
“Miz has not been doing much lately, and on Friday, they did a segment he had just gotten put together with Carmelo Hayes as a tag team, and they were teasing a breakup on Friday… And this was right when they cut Truth and Carlito and now Sarah Logan and I’ve been told there were others.” Alvarez said.
Alvarez also mentioned Miz’s recent social media activity, where he removed all mentions of WWE. This has fueled speculations on social media, discussing the same. Alvarez hinted that when there’s smoke, there could be fire.
“And I bring up Miz, not just because of that angle, but if you go to his, his Twitter, I mean, there are no mentions of WWE… It no longer says the most must see WWE superstar. He removed all references to WWE. It now says ‘the most must read Twitter account of all time,’ and that’s it. Now, I was told that he is doing the new season of American Gladiators or whatever.
And so I know people are skeptical they would get rid of him now. But he did remove references to WWE from his social media. And I just think it would be a pretty lame thing to do that if you’re not being released when everyone else has been released. So there might where there’s smoke, there could be fire, I will say that, but I guess we’ll find out as the week goes on.”
