WWE has witnessed a number of pro wrestlers falling in love with their co-workers. Throughout the years, there were a number of WWE star couples, who achieved both their professional and personal goals together.

However, some relationships could fail after being public for years. Here we take a look at three WWE couples, whose Breakup created shock waves to the fans.

3. Rusev & Lana

Miro & CJ Perry worked together for WWE from 2013 to 2020 under the name Rusev & Lana, where they were dubbed as Russians. Lana managed Rusev and both began dating, which resulted in a marriage in July 2016.

They enjoyed their married life for almost seven years and split their paths, as both were falling apart over the years. CJ Perry made the separation news public in an interview and they remain as friends.

2. Matt Hardy & Lita

Matt Hardy & Lita were in a six-year-long relationship since 1999. They first met at a NWA Mid-Atlantic show. They also showed up as a pair in WWE and had a great relationship.

However, in 2005, they broke up as Lita was found cheating with Matt Hardy’s close friend & fellow WWE star, Edge (Adam Copeland). This was a huge talking point at the time, which made fans boo Lita on the WWE shows.

1. John Cena & Nikki Bella

John Cena & Nikki Bella are two biggest stars in WWE, who began dating in 2017 and got engaged together. They were said to be married on May 5, 2018, but they called off their relationship in April 2018 as they weren’t able to align on the same page.

Nikki revealed that Cena refused to have kids and that was the reason behind their breakup. Cena has spoken about it a number of times that he doesn’t want to have children as he does not want to be an absentee parent as he is focused on his career. Their breakup created a shockwave in and around the wrestling industry.
