Saudi Arabia events are raising questions over WWE Crown Jewel 2026.
WWE successfully wrapped up the 2026 Money in the Bank PLE in New Orleans. The eventful night saw many storylines taking some decisive turns while a few new stories were shaping up. Right after the end of the MITB 2026, all eyes were on the next PLE, Crown Jewel 2026.
Crown Jewel is officially scheduled for Saturday, November 7, at Riyadh Season Stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District. But WWE’s plans for its upcoming Saudi Arabia events have come under renewed scrutiny following a reported missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

The event is expected to feature champion-versus-champion contests, including current champions Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Liv Morgan and Chelsea Green. But after the strike on Saudi grounds, the United States Embassy in Saudi Arabia issued an urgent security warning following reported attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
“The U.S. Mission is aware of attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on October 10 and strongly recommends all U.S. citizens avoid this airport and surrounding areas.”
While the U.S. government employees in Saudi Arabia will also need to have special authorization to use the airport, the tense situation is certainly casting dark clouds on the upcoming PLE event.
The situation has become a significant topic of discussion within WWE, with reports indicating that the company has been assessing the implications of regional security concerns and potential travel disruptions. However, WWE has not announced any postponement, cancellation, or relocation of Crown Jewel.
In addition, rumors have already emerged about WWE hosting WrestleMania 43 in North America; this new development could speed up the process. WrestleMania 43 is planned to happen in Saudi Arabia in 2027, but its date has yet to be announced.
Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline also stated that the issue of hosting the event was a hot topic inside the company. Still, the event will remain officially hosted in Riyadh, with no alternative venue having been announced thus far.
Will WWE alter its Saudi Arabia plans?

At the moment, there is no official confirmation of moving either of the events. Crown Jewel will take place on November 7 in Riyadh, whereas WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia in 2027.
Future actions of the company will depend on the developing security situation, travel conditions, and safety of its staff and guests. Without an official statement from the company or its Saudi partners, any talk of canceling or relocating the event will be considered premature.
The coming weeks could prove important for Crown Jewel, given its proximity on the calendar. WrestleMania 43’s schedule remains a separate unresolved question, with its date still awaiting official confirmation.
