The 2026 edition of Elimination Chamber will emanate from Chicago.
The wait for the second PLE of 2026 is over for WWE fans as the promotion is all set to deliver the 2026 edition of Elimination Chamber on the Road to WrestleMania 42. The 16th Elimination Chamber event will air live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
The 2026 edition of Elimination Chamber marks a major return to the U.S., becoming the first edition held stateside since 2021 and the first with a live crowd in the country since 2020. It will also end a long hiatus for WWE at the United Center, which hasn’t hosted a PLE in more than three decades.
In August 1994, SummerSlam etched its place in history by becoming the first sporting event ever held at the iconic venue. WWE has also built a stacked card for the historic show, featuring two of Chicago’s own megastars.
Let’s now take a look at the detailed preview along with the match card, timings, and telecast details for the highly anticipated WWE Elimination Chamber 2026.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 Match Card
- CM Punk (c) vs Finn Balor – World Heavyweight title match
- Becky Lynch (c) vs AJ Lee – Women’s Intercontinental title match
- Randy Orton vs LA Knight vs Cody Rhodes vs Je’Von Evans vs Trick Williams vs Jey Uso – Men’s Elimination Chamber match
- Tiffany Stratton vs Rhea Ripley vs Alexa Bliss vs Asuka vs Kiana James vs Raquel Rodriguez – Women’s Elimination Chamber match
CM Punk (c) vs Finn Balor – World Heavyweight title match
Before his WrestleMania showdown with Roman Reigns, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is set to defend his title against Finn Bálor at Elimination Chamber.
Balor looks to defeat Punk on his home turf, just as Punk did to him in their first meeting back in January. He is also aiming to spoil the Mania showdown between Punk and Reigns and walk with the title at Mania and face Reigns.
Becky Lynch (c) vs AJ Lee – Women’s Intercontinental title match

During the February 9 episode of Raw, AJ Lee made her return to challenge Becky Lynch for a clash at the second PLE of 2026. Lee played to Becky’s ego and baited her into accepting the match; Lynch even agreed to put the Women’s Intercontinental title on the line.
Lee is 2-0 against Becky in their past two meeting last year at Wrestlepalooza and Survivor Series, respectively. However, this will be their first singles match, as the previous two were mixed-tag team and a women’s WarGames match.
Men’s & Women’s Elimination Chamber matches

As usual, the event will feature the two men’s and women’s Chamber matches, with the winner securing the WrestleMania spot against the World Champion, remaining after the Royal Rumble announce their picks.
Randy Orton, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Jey Uso have qualified for the men’s Chamber match. They will now battle to secure the WrestleMania spot against Undisputed Champion Drew McIntyre.
On the other hand, Tiffany Stratton, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Kiana James, and Raquel Rodriguez will battle for a spot against the WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill at the ‘Grandest Stage.’
