Roman Reigns vs LA Knight
The mega event kicked off with LA Knight making his way to the ring as he looked to get better off Roman Reigns. The OTC also looked to ‘end the madness’ as he entered the match with a 1-0 head-to-head record against the Megastar.
The first pin attempt came by Knight, but Reigns kicked out and responded with a Superman punch, followed by a pin attempt of his own. Knight had an upper hand for most of the match and looked to finish the match with BFT.
Reigns managed to kick out, becoming the first wrestler to survive BFT. Knight lined up a BFT, but Reigns blocked it and dropped Knight’s groin onto the top rope. Reigns hit a pair of Superman Punches and a spear to pick up the win.
Winner: Roman Reigns
Grade: A
Insight and Backstage action
- Post-match, 946 (Royce Keys, Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) arrived to stare down Reigns from the crowd stands as the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso), accompanied by Solo Sikoa, arrived behind, leading to a massive brawl backstage. The Bloodline had the final say in the brawl as the 946 decided to drive away from the Arena.
Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match (Sol Ruca vs Lola Vice vs Jacy Jayne vs Roxanne Perez vs Lash Legend vs Tiffany Stratton)
The 2026 edition of the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match featured Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend, and Tiffany Stratton. The match took place in New Orleans after the massive World title match between Roman Reigns and LA Knight.
With betting odds favoring Roxanne Perez and Lash Legend, all eyes were on the two superstars who looked to take control of all the chaos going on around. But with the MITB experience and proper strategy for the matchups, Tiffany Stratton managed to finish on top.
Stratton successfully cashed in her last Money in the Bank Briefcase and will be looking to win a title once again following her latest win.
Winner: Tiffany Stratton
Grade: B+
Oba Femi vs Bronson Reed
The Ruler took control of the match from the start, but Bronson Reed held on and slammed Femi shoulder-first on the apron, followed by a dive through the ropes. Back in the ring, Reed continued the beatdown, looking for a pin as Femi managed to kick out at two.
The vision interfered as Austin Theory looked to hit Oba, but the official banned him from ringside. Till then, Reed managed to hit Femi with the brass knuckles provided by Dupri. He followed it up with a Tsunami into the cover, but Femi somehow managed to kick out.
Winner: Oba Femi
Grade: B+
Women’s World Championship (Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan vs Stephanie Vaquer)
Liv Morgan was targeted by Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer early on as the former champion looked shattered by back-to-back attacks. Vaquer showed great athleticism in the game, while Lynch showed her experience as everyone looked to take advantage of situations.
In closing moments, Vaquer and Becky continued to brawl as the Champion sent Becky crashing onto the table ringside. Morgan capitalized, rushing in to deliver an Oblivion on Vaquer and securing the three-count pin to regain the Women’s World title once again after the ‘Santiago Screwjob.’
Winner: Liv Morgan
Grade: A
Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match (Bron Breakker vs Je’Von Evans vs Trick Williams vs Penta vs CM Punk vs Kevin Owens)
It was complete domination from Bron Breakker right from the start, as no challenger had an answer to the raw power and unpredictable play from the Vision member. While Breakker was the MVP of the match, Evan won fans’ support as he returned from a serious injury caused by Breakker.
Even though Bron Breakker had the match under his control, Breakker attempted to climb the ladder, but Penta pulled him down and set up a bridge with a second ladder. Both men fought before Penta hit a Mexican Destroyer on Breakker onto the ladder. Penta had the final laugh as he climbed up the ladder uncontested and claimed the ultimate prize.
Winner: Penta
Grade: B+
