Roman Reigns vs LA Knight, Two Ladder Matches & more are set for the PLE.
WWE’s Premium Live Event calendar returns with Money in the Bank 2026, and this year’s edition promises a night filled with championship stakes, unpredictable ladder-match action, and several high-profile singles encounters.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. It will be the first Money in the Bank event to take place in October and the first edition to be held after SummerSlam.
The main event will see Roman Reigns defending his title against LA Knight and also a triple threat match for the Women’s championship. With these title matches, there will be Ladder matches where winners earn a chance to compete for the title of their choice in a one-year period.

Roman Reigns vs LA Knight for the World Heavyweight Championship
The biggest singles match on the card will see Roman Reigns defend the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight.
The rivalry between two stars intensified during WWE’s Mexico City edition. LA Knight didn’t let OTC celebrate his successful title defense against Penta and even delivered a BFT, making his intentions clear. Reigns subsequently responded by accepting Knight’s challenge for Money in the Bank.
The matchup also carries an interesting contrast in styles. Reigns has built his career around his physical dominance and methodical approach, while Knight relies heavily on his explosive offense and crowd momentum.
With the championship at stake, the result could significantly alter WWE’s main-event picture heading into the final months of 2026.
Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match
The traditional men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match will feature Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Penta, CM Punk, and Kevin Owens.
The six-man lineup combines established main-event performers with younger stars looking to make their breakthrough. The odds might favor one particular wrestler, but with multiple unique abilities on the floor, the match will be an interesting one for fans.
The winner will receive a contract guaranteeing a championship opportunity of their choosing within the following year, making the briefcase one of WWE’s most valuable prizes.
Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match
The women’s ladder match is equally loaded, with Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton competing for the briefcase.
Ruca’s athleticism could make her particularly dangerous in a ladder environment, while Vice’s combat-sports background gives her a different approach to the match. Jacy Jayne and Roxanne Perez have plenty of experience competing in high-pressure situations, while Lash Legend possesses the physical strength required to dominate around the ladders.
Former champion Tiffany Stratton enters the battle as an interesting proposition. Although many see Roxanne Perez as a worthy winner, the women’s contest could become one of the night’s most unpredictable matches.
Oba Femi vs Bronson Reed
A clash between two of WWE’s most physically imposing stars will see Oba Femi take on Bronson Reed. The rivalry began after Reed returned and targeted Femi during his confrontation with Bron Breakker. WWE subsequently confirmed their singles encounter for Money in the Bank.
This matchup is expected to revolve around power rather than speed. Femi’s strength and explosive offense will be tested against Reed’s size, experience, and trademark Tsunami.
Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan
The Women’s World Championship will also be on the line when Stephanie Vaquer defends against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan in a Triple Threat Match.
The contest came together after Lynch and Morgan’s No. 1 contender’s match ended in disqualification. Vaquer became involved after Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez interfered.
Rather than allow the situation to remain unresolved, Vaquer demanded that both Lynch and Morgan be added to the championship match. WWE subsequently made the Triple Threat official.
With two Money in the Bank briefcases, two title matches, and a heavyweight singles clash, WWE has assembled a card capable of producing several major moments in New Orleans. The biggest question remains whether Roman Reigns will leave with his championship, or whether LA Knight can finally capture the world title.
