WWE NXT sets the stage for Heatwave this weekend.
Before the trip to Edinburgh, Texas, WWE will deliver the Heatwave go-home show of NXT tonight. The August 25 edition of the show will set the stage for the PLE, as stars set to face off will meet for the final time at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
Speaking of the Heatwave PLE, Kali Armstrong will battle Women’s North American Champion Zaria in a non-title match. However, if Kali wins, she will be added to the Women’s North American Championship & WWE Women’s Speed title unification match this weekend.
On the other hand, Dion Lennox and Saquon Shugars will collide in a weaponized steel cage match. Meanwhile, Rey Fenix will defend the AAA Cruiserweight title against Ek Prosper.
Additionally, Sean Legacy, Dorian Van Dux, Romeo Moreno, and Noam Dar will join forces on NXT tonight to take on BirthRight (Lexis King, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Uriah Connors & Charlie Dempsey) in an eight-man tag team match.
