The WWE Women’s Speed title will be contested on the 2025 edition of the PLE!

During the 2025 edition of WWE NXT Heatwave, the promotion officially announced the 2025 edition of NXT No Mercy. The third annual NXT No Mercy, and the 16th overall, is set to take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the FTL War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Multiple top names in the developmental brand, including Oba Femi, Blake Monroe, Sol Ruca, Jordynne Grace, Ricky Saints, Jacy Jayne, and Ethan Page, among others, are set to compete on the show.

The 2025 edition will mark the first No Mercy to feature the WWE logo since 2017. The show will feature stars from the developmental brand as well as stars from TNA Wrestling as part of their working agreement.

On the August 26 show of NXT, Ricky Saints defeated Josh Briggs with a tornado DDT and became the #1 contender to the NXT Championship. With the win Saints is now set to battle the current NXT Champion Oba Femi this weekend at the PLE.

On the other hand, Lola Vice triumphed in a triple threat match at NXT Heatwave to become the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. She’s now set to challenge the reigning champion, Jacy Jayne, at the upcoming PLE.

The men’s and women’s WWE Speed titles have now officially been added to the NXT brand, and GM Ava organized a tournament to determine the #1 Contender for the Women’s Speed title. Lainey Reid defeated Candice LeRae in the semi-finals to secure the spot. She will battle the reigning Champion, Sol Ruca, on September 27.

During the NXT Homecoming show last week, Damian Priest made an appearance and praised Travion Heights. He then had a conversation with General Manager Ava and announced that Heights will battle Ethan Page at NXT No Mercy for the NXT North American title.

A weaponized steel cage match is also announced for the show, where Blake Monroe and Jordynne Grace will meet to write a new chapter in their fierce feud. Monroe emerged victorious in their first meeting last month at NXT Heavtwave. Additionally, Je’Von Evans and Josh Briggs are set to lock horns to put their feud to bed.
