TNA World Champion Joe Hendry will be in action tonight on WWE NXT!

The May 06 episode of WWE NXT will air live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show will follow in the footsteps of last week’s show, Ricky Saints retaining the NXT North American Championship as he defeated Lexis King in the first match of the show, while Sol Ruca defeated Karmen Petrovic in a singles match.

NXT Tag Team Champions Hank and Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) also retained their titles as they defeated the team of Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura. Furthermore, as announced, Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky arrived in NXT and teamed up with Jordynne Grace to battle Giulia and Roxanne Perez in the main event of the show, where they picked up the win.

The promotion has announced multiple matches for this week’s show as the build towards NXT Battleground 2025 begins. TNA World Champion Joe Hendry will be in action tonight as he is set to team up with the NXT Tag Team Champions Hank & Tank to battle the DarkState in a six-man tag team match.

The match was set up following last week’s vicious assault on Hendry by the DarkState. On the other hand, Kelandi Jordan will battle Zaria in a singles match, as Jordan looks to get closer to the NXT Women’s North American title currently held by Sol Ruca. Two matches have been announced for tonight to determine the number one contenders for the NXT Men’s and Women’s Championships.

General Manager Ava confirmed that Jordynne Grace will face Giulia, with the winner earning a shot at Stephanie Vaquer’s NXT Women’s Championship. While number one contender for the NXT Championship, currently held by Oba Femi, will be determined by a 25-man battle royal.
