WWE NXT Results & Highlights
Stephanie Vaquer vs Jacy Jayne
Since it was also confirmed that Stephanie Vaquer would battle Fallon Henley for the NXT Women’s North American Championship at Vengeance Day, Fatal Influence included a small backstage scene in which Jacy Jayne interrupted Henley’s objections over the match being scheduled.
This prompted Henley to offer Jayne the chance to face Vaquer the following week to soften her up and exact revenge for Vaquer’s attack on Jayne in the makeup chair a few weeks prior.
The two stars clashed in the first match of the 02/04 episode, where despite Jayne’s Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx ) interference, Vaquer picked up the win via pinfall.
Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs Ridge Holland
Ridge Holland faced Channing Lorenzo, and they almost got into a brawl last week as Stacks protected Izzi Dame from Holland, who was unhappy with Dame for interfering in his North American Championship bout against Tony D’Angelo the previous week.
The two stars met in the second match of the evening where Stacks attacked Holland during the entrance. Holland ultimately bounced back and blasted Stacks into the steel steps at ringside. Shawn Spears and his group observed from the crow’s nest as Stacks started to mount a comeback.
Izzy Dame nearly intervened again, but Holland intimidated her out of the ring. Ridge then lifted Stacks for the Redeemer and picked up the win.
Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley vs Sol Ruca & Zaria
Sol Ruca and Zaria teamed up this week to battle Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin. Paxley and Ruca started the action in the tag team match.
In the final moments of the match, Ruca landed her finishing move, the Sol Smasher on Gigi Dolin to pick up the win. Sol Ruca and Zaria defeated the team of Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley.
Charlotte Flair appears
Bayley and Roxanne Perez made their entrances but before Giulia could make her entrance Roxanne Perez started boasting about her performance in the women’s Royal Rumble match last Saturday. Bayley pointed out that she hadn’t won, but Roxanne replied that she had eliminated Giulia. She also mentioned that Bayley was only returning to NXT to assert her influence in what she called the best women’s division in wrestling.
After a long back and forth between the two NXT Women’s Champion, Giulia made an appearance and went off on Perez and Bayley. 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match winner Charlotte Flair appeared and announced that ‘mama has come home’.
Flair told Roxanne she was impressed with her Rumble performance, but if she was still champion by WrestleMania, she’d end up being a runner-up once again. She then turned to Giulia, acknowledging that the hype around her was real and that she respected her. Bayley agreed that this was indeed the greatest women’s division, but made it clear she was the best.
Just then, Cora Jade appeared with a kendo stick, attacking both Giulia and Bayley. Roxanne tried to back off, but Jade swung at her too, forcing Roxanne to quickly escape. Jade finished by taking a few more swings at Giulia and Bayley, sending them both packing.
Karmen Petrovic vs Kelani Jordan
Karmen Petrovic took on Kelani Jordan in the 02/04 episode, the clash was set up following their backstage interaction last week, where Jordan warned Petrovic that it is just a matter of time before Ashante “Thee” Adonis leaves.
Jordan showcasing her strength took control of the match and locked in the crossface chickenwing submission to pick up the win against Petrovic. However, after the match Jordan locked in the submission once again and officials had to break it up, referee Darryl Sharma reversed the decision and Petrovic won in the end by disqualification.
Tag Team Match: Oba Femi & Trick Williams vs A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller)
On the January 28th edition of The Grayson Waller Effect, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller featured NXT Champion Oba Femi. They argued back and forth until Femi dared them to confront him at NXT Vengeance Day.
Trick Williams interrupted and brawled with Theory and Waller before Femi powerbombed them. Backstage, NXT General Manager Ava informed Williams that he and Femi will be facing Theory and Waller on the February 4th broadcast.
The two teams met in the main event of the 02/04 show of WWE NXT, Williams tagged himself in to start the match against Theory. This irked the NXT Champion Femi as the two started arguing during the match. Femi pulled Williams out of the ring to argue and it allowed A-Town Down Under to take over.
In the final moments of the match, when Femi took control of the match William tagged himself in which once again made the NXT Champion angry. Eddy Thorpe appeared to cause the distraction which helped Waller and Theory pick up the win against Femi and Williams.
After the match, Thorpe waved the leather strap and locked eyes with Femi, but the champion decided to leave the scene. In response, Eddy attacked Trick, using the strap to land several punches before standing tall as the show ended with the color bars, and this time we get an image of four people standing in shadow briefly.
