Joe Hendry vs JD McDonagh
Joe Hendry will return to in-ring action against JD McDonagh on the October 19 episode of RAW. The match follows weeks of Hendry making fun of McDonagh’s head size, with the Judgment Day member now getting an opportunity to settle the score inside the ring.
Hendry has quickly become a notable presence on WWE programming, and a victory would help him build momentum on the red brand. McDonagh, meanwhile, will look to turn the personal insults into an advantage and secure a win for Judgment Day.
The contest could also influence Hendry’s position in the division as he looks to establish himself against regular RAW competitors. In another singles match, Mr. Money in the Bank, Penta will take on Bron Breakker.
Roman Reigns returns amid Crown Jewel build-up
(Courtesy: WWE.com)While the megastar spoke about his limited appearances in WWE, Roman Reigns is due to appear on the upcoming RAW, where he is set to successfully defend the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight at Money in the Bank. This appearance comes amidst the buildup for his championship match against Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn at Crown Jewel.
Reigns might use the opportunity to talk about his upcoming match, and he can also react to any of the recent happenings between The Bloodline and The 946. Carmelo Hayes has made his return and chosen to side with Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price.
This is just adding another dimension to their feud. It will be interesting to see how The OTC reacts to this, considering that they have been going after his family.
Sami Zayn to appear on WWE RAW October 19
(Courtesy: WWE.com)Unanimous WWE Champion Sami Zayn is expected to be part of the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW. The upcoming bout involves Sami Zayn meeting World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns in build-up to Crown Jewel 2026.
The clash might lead to more developments before the anticipated match-up between them as champions scheduled for the November 7 premium live event. Although Sami Zayn’s presence in the program is part of the advertised RAW card, his title match with Cody Rhodes is reportedly going to be a dark match.
Sami Zayn vs Cody Rhodes (Dark match)
The upcoming Monday Night RAW episode, scheduled for October 19, will feature one huge non-TV attraction, where Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn will put his title on the line against Cody Rhodes. It is assumed that this fight will take place exclusively during the event itself and won’t air on Netflix.
This news becomes even more interesting considering Zayn’s upcoming match with Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. Rhodes might have an opportunity to mess up Zayn’s plans; however, nothing has been confirmed yet regarding his involvement in the storyline.
AAA World Trios Championship match announced as a dark match
There has been another addition to the championship attractions on the October 19 show of Monday Night RAW, with Psycho Clown, La Parka, and Mr. Iguana set to battle Los Perros del Mal (Daga, Angel, and Berto) in a bid to capture the AAA World Trios Championship.
The match is scheduled to happen as a dark match in the Pechanga Arena of San Diego, where it will only be seen by the live crowd and not by television viewers. This gives Psycho Clown a chance to go after the title alongside two other popular wrestlers from AAA.
