WWE RAW (August 31, 2026) - Roman Reigns to appear; Raquel Rodriguez vs Sol Ruca & more set for next week

WWE Raw from Ottawa featured another main roster debut.
This Monday’s WWE Raw concluded two hours early at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, and continued the build towards the upcoming Sunday Night’s Main Event. Stephanie Vaquer picked up a win against Roxanne Perez in her in-ring return.
On the other hand, the SNME contract signing between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker ended in chaos as Austin Theory tried to attack Femi, who sent Breakker outside and put Theory through a table.
The show also featured Big Cass’ in-ring return where he defeated Je’Von Evans. The main event contest between LA Knight & Solo Sikoa and The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) ended in a no-contest as Royce Keys & NXT’s OTM (Lucien Price & Bronco Nima) attacked.

Next week’s show will feature the return of World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title #1 Contenders tournament final.
Rey Fenix defeated Dragon Lee, while Penta defeated La Parka to secure his spot in the finals. The two brothers will now collide in the finals next week, with the winner securing the spot against Reigns at the September 14 edition of Raw in Mexico City.
Additionally, the World Heavyweight Champion will likely address Solo Sikoa’s defiance and the attack by Royce Keys and OTM this week.
On the other hand, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez will defend the title against Sol Ruca. This will be a rematch from their meeting last month, where Raquel defeated Ruca to capture the title.
The August 31 edition of Monday Night Raw will be pre-taped this Friday (August 28) at the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, where WWE will hold another double taping of Raw and SmackDown. The show will air on Monday at its usual time of 8 PM ET on Netflix (excluding select markets).
