WWE RAW: CM Punk returns; Roman Reigns to appear; Becky Lynch & Roxanne Perez in action & more set for next week (October 6, 2025)

The September 29 episode of WWE RAW featured the return of Roman Reigns!

The September 29 episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. Similar to the past two weeks’ show, the show also had an early start time of 7 PM ET/ 4 PM PT.

The show continued the build towards next month’s Crown Jewel PLE, featuring a fiery segment between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, as well as a backstage segment between Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton.

After another attack in the opening moments by the Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka), Iyo Sky has now teamed up with Rhea Ripley to battle the Kabuki Warriors at the upcoming PLE. In the first match of the show, Dominik Mysterio pinned Rusev to retain the Intercontinental title.

Furthermore, Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez defeated Bayley, while LA Knight pinned Kofi Kingston in an impromptu match. The team of AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defeated Los Americanos (Bravo & Riyo) in a tag team match.

During the main event of the 09/29 show, Roman Reigns made his return to aid The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The Usos defeated Breakker and Reed in the Tornado Tag team match to win the Wrestlepalooza rematch, while Reigns settled the score with Breakker and Reed afterwards.

CM Punk will make his return on the Crown Jewel go-home show

During the September 29 show, WWE announced multiple matches and segments for next week’s show. For the first time since Wrestlepalooza, where he emerged victorious alongside AJ Lee, CM Punk is set to make his return next week.

Following his return this week, ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns is set to kick off the Crown Jewel go-home show of Raw next week.

On the other hand, following the backstage unprovoked attack by Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, Maxxine Dupri is looking for some payback. Dupri will battle Lynch in singles action next week.

Additionally, following this week’s altercation, Lyra Valkyria will face Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez. While Valkyria had initially rejected the offer to corner Bayley after their previous fallout, she rushed to Bayley’s aid when Perez attacked her after Bayley’s loss to Raquel Rodriguez.

The October 6 episode of WWE Raw is set to air live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The October 6 episode will serve as the go-home show for the Crown Jewel PLE. The show will revert to its original 8 PM ET/ 5 PM PT for next week’s show.
