Sheamus moves up to the next round!

The John Cena “Last Match” Tournament started on WWE RAW this week with a clash of styles and pride as Sheamus battled Shinsuke Nakamura in a hard-hitting first-round encounter.

Both men, known for their punishing strikes and unrelenting grit, wasted no time setting a fierce tone. Sheamus took early control with a powerful shoulder block and a brutal lariat, forcing Nakamura to regroup.

The King of Strong Style responded with his trademark striking game, connecting with sharp kicks and a precise enzuigiri that momentarily staggered the Celtic Warrior.

But Sheamus, ever the brawler, countered with a scoop slam and a seated senton that brought the Boston crowd to life. Nakamura managed to halt the Beats of the Bodhrán with a series of Kawada-style kicks, finishing with an axe kick before hitting a diving Kinshasa from the second rope that sent Sheamus crashing to the floor.

Back from the commercial break, the physicality only intensified. Nakamura landed a top-rope superplex for a near fall, but Sheamus refused to stay down.

When the Japanese veteran unleashed another barrage of kicks, Sheamus demanded more, roaring “Hit me!” as he absorbed every strike.

The exchange fired up the Celtic Warrior, who delivered the Irish Curse Backbreaker before unloading the Beats of the Bodhrán to the crowd’s delight.

Nakamura stayed resilient, countering a Brogue Kick attempt with a Sling Blade and an inverted powerslam that nearly ended the bout.

The King of Strong Style lined up for his trademark Kinshasa, but Sheamus showcased his ring IQ by rolling through with a quick schoolboy counter.

As Nakamura tried to recover, Sheamus exploded out of nowhere with a thunderous Brogue Kick that connected flush, securing the decisive pinfall victory.

With the win, Sheamus advances to the next round of the tournament, edging closer to a potential dream match against John Cena. For Nakamura, the loss was a setback, but the match served as a testament to both men’s endurance and respect for competition.
