WWE Raw Summary and Highlights
Seth Rollins stomps Paul Heyman into the mat

After the walk-ins to start the show, Paul Heyman stood at ringside alongside Logan Paul and Austin Theory before making his way into the ring. Heyman said he was there to address Seth Rollins. The Wiseman declared that he despised the song and hated Seth “Freakin” Rollins, accusing him of stealing credit for co-founding The Vision and even The Shield.
Heyman continued, claiming that Rollins stole the Elimination Chamber and, by extension, WrestleMania from Logan Paul. He vowed that they would deal with Rollins the next time he stepped into the ring, promising they would stomp him out. It wasn’t a prediction or a spoiler, Heyman said, but a personal guarantee from the three members of The Vision.
Austin Theory then took the microphone and criticized Rollins, saying that while their history went back years, Rollins’ future was going nowhere. He passed the mic to Logan Paul, who accused Rollins of robbing him of victory. Logan declared that the rest of the show wouldn’t continue unless Rollins came out and answered him.
General Manager Adam Pearce then appeared, making it clear that no one would be holding the show hostage. He also accused the trio of attacking Jey Uso the previous week. Heyman fired back, questioning why Pearce kept pointing the finger at them, before once again warning Rollins. Pearce responded that they had to clear the ring so he could address Rollins, revealing that Seth is not medically cleared to compete.
Suddenly, a masked man appeared in the crowd, only to be chased off by security. A second masked figure emerged and was pursued by Logan Paul, followed by a third who was run off by Austin Theory. With Heyman left alone in the ring, a fourth masked man appeared near the entrance ramp, prompting Heyman to plead. Moments later, a fifth masked figure surfaced at ringside and unmasked himself as Rollins.
Rollins struck Heyman from behind with a steel chair before lining him up for a curb stomp and driving him into the mat. He then escaped through the crowd as medical personnel rushed to the ring to tend to Heyman.
When the show returned from commercial break, a battered Paul Heyman was being loaded into an ambulance as Austin Theory and Logan Paul rushed over to check on their Wiseman. Theory told Logan to bring the car around and approached what he assumed was Logan behind the wheel.
Instead, it was Jimmy Uso, who blindsided Theory and sent him crashing over a nearby production crate. Jimmy then made his way to the ambulance, revealing that LA Knight was in the driver’s seat. Knight assured Heyman that he was safe before driving the ambulance away.
Grade: A
Indights & Backstage Moments:
- The segment was one of the best starts to a Monday Night Raw show in recent memory.
- The use of multiple masked men to distract Theory and Logan away from the ring so that Rollins can execute the punishment was done exceptionally well.
Dragon Lee vs Gunther
Dragon Lee attacked Gunther during his entrance, but the Ring General fought back, sending Lee into the timekeepers’ area with a backbody drop. The match began during the commercials, with Gunther punishing Lee with vicious chops and the luchador firing back with lightning-fast moves.
Lee almost won the match via count-out after delivering the Operation Dragon on the floor, but Gunther stepped back into the ring in time. The Ring General intercepted a second Operation Dragon to rip off Lee’s mask and sink in the sleeper hold, forcing Lee to tap out.
Winner: Gunther
Grade: A
Match Insights & Backstage Moments:
- The screengrab of Lee’s face when Gunther removed the mask is going viral on social media.
- The pace of the match was frantic, with Gunther putting on another classic and ultimately getting the win by locking in the infamous sleeper hold.
- Backstage, Asuka berated Kairi Sane, insisting that she should have been the one competing inside the Chamber. Sane reminded Asuka that just the previous week, she had said she performed well, but that only triggered another wave of verbal abuse from an already furious Asuka. Fuming with anger, Asuka eventually stormed off. Moments later, AJ Lee appeared and checked on Sane, asking if she was okay and jokingly telling her to blink twice if she needed help. Suddenly, Asuka’s voice echoed down the hallway as she shouted, “KAIRIII!” startling Lee. Sane then quietly walked away.
AJ Lee put the lockeroom on notice

AJ Lee recapped how she had returned to “snatch the pretty hair” off Becky’s big a*s head, only to somehow end up taking her title in the process. She admitted that she had questioned whether she could still compete at the highest level, but said the fans never doubted her and had supported her for over a decade.
Lee stated that while some people hoped she would fade away, the fans never forgot her. In doing so, she proved to herself that she was still championship material. With Becky now in her rearview mirror, she said WrestleMania is on the horizon.
However, AJ made it clear she didn’t want to wait that long. She declared her intention to be a fighting champion, emphasizing that she wouldn’t take this opportunity for granted or waste a single moment. She mentioned having her eye on several women in the locker room and said that now that she held the title, anyone who believed they were worthy of it should step up.
Lee then announced that the next time she stepped into the ring, she would be defending the Intercontinental Championship, closing the promo by calling out the entire locker room.

Backstage Moments:
- Earlier in the day, footage showed “Original” El Grande Americano approaching Penta and wishing him luck in his championship match, before stating that he intended to be first in line for a shot. Shortly after, Los Americanos pulled up, and Rayo confronted Original. The OG Americano fired back, insisting that he was the one true El Grande Americano. The exchange escalated, leading to a challenge being laid down for a match at AAA Rey de Reyes on March 14. The OG pushed to settle things immediately, but Americano stepped in and instead offered up one of his associates to face him.
- In a video package, Liv Morgan offered a sarcastic apology to Stephanie Vaquer, saying she was sorry that she had been handed major opportunities while Vaquer was wrestling in mud huts. Despite the insult, Morgan claimed she saw a bit of herself in Vaquer, which was why she was willing to grant her the chance to step into the ring with her.
“Original” El Grande Americano vs Rayo Americano
Following the backstage segment, the match between “Original” El Grande Americano and Rayo Americano began, with Bravo and El Grande Americano (the other one) constantly running interference. However, Original Americano fought them off and delivered a briding American to pin Rayo and bag the win, before escaping the ring.
Winner: “Original” El Grande Americano
Grade: C+
Match Insights & Backstage Moments:
- After the match, Penta delivered a warning to Dominik Mysterio ahead of their title clash in a video promo.
- During the commercial break, Nattie apologized to Maxxine Dupri for ever allowing her to train in the Dungeon. She then took a sharp jab at Dupri, saying, “Take it from a killer they once tried to label a bimbo, you’re a bimbo trying to convince us you’re a killer.” Nattie went on to mock her, telling Dupri to stick to making TikToks and vlogs and to continue living what she called an empty-shell life, adding that “Harts don’t lie.”
Rusev calls out Oba Femi
WWE aired a clip of Oba Femi’s victory over The Miz from last week’s SmackDown just as Rusev walked in with a microphone, demanding that the production team stop the replay. Rusev called out Femi, insisting that they both wanted a fight and even suggested they settle it immediately.
He hyped the matchup as “The Bulgarian Lion vs. The Nigerian Ruler” and told Femi to go check with his “daddy,” Adam Pearce. Femi’s music then hit as he made his entrance. Grabbing a microphone, he called Rusev into the ring, jumped off the announce desk, and stepped inside to confront the Bulgarian Lion face-to-face.
The two men immediately traded blows in the center of the ring. Femi gained the upper hand with a powerful body shot and attempted a chokeslam, but Rusev fought back with a series of stiff kicks. Rusev launched another attack, only for Femi to counter, slamming him into the mat and sending him crashing over the top rope.

Insights & Backstage Moments:
- Before the segment in The Judgment Day clubhouse, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were discussing potential ways to secure Raquel a spot on the WrestleMania card. Finn Balor walked in and said that he felt at peace following his recent match. Dominik Mysterio then asked if he could rely on them, prompting JD McDonagh to say he had his back. However, Balor reminded Dominik that they had already discussed this; he needed to win on his own. Dirty Dom quickly clarified that he wasn’t asking for help to win, but rather hoping they could all celebrate together afterward as a family. Bálor assured Dom that he would be at ringside to watch him get the job done.
- Backstage, Bayley admitted that with WrestleMania season in full swing, she can’t shake the feeling that she’s being left behind. Lyra Valkyria suggested taking control of the situation themselves. With AJ Lee openly calling for new challengers, she proposed Bayley to step up and make it happen. However, Bayley hesitated and reminded Lyra that she was the reason Lyra missed out on a title opportunity against Becky Lynch, insisting that if anyone is stepping forward, it should be both of them. United in purpose, they made their way to Adam Pearce’s office, where they ran into Iyo Sky.
Austin Theory vs Jimmy Uso
As soon as the bell rang, Big Jim charged at Theory, with the action quickly spilling outside, with Jimmy sending Theory crashing over the top rope, following it with a dive through the ropes. He then slammed Theory onto the announce desk and steel steps before hitting another big boot and clearing the desk entirely.
Another boot from Big Jim sent Theory back onto the announce desk as he climbed to the top rope. Logan Paul darted into the ring, only for Big Jim to take him out with a splash. Theory rushed in to help, and the numbers game took over as Logan and Theory began to beat down Big Jim. Suddenly, Jey Uso’s music hit, and he appeared at ringside on crutches. The Usos then cleared the ring, taking Theory out with a 1D.
Winner: Jimmy Uso via DQ
Grade: B
Match Insights & Backstage Moments:
- Wasn’t Jey Uso badly injured after the attack on SmackDown that forced him out of the Elimination Chamber?
- The segment felt like a setup to a World Tag Team clash between The Usos and The Vision at WrestleMania. Still not sure where LA Knight fits in all of this.
- Backstage, Danhausen approached GM Adam Pearce with a list of Demandhausen. He wanted a blimp, a photo of himself pointing with Triple H, his face plastered on every truck. Pearce decided to hand the eccentric star off to Judgment Day. Danhausen introduced himself to the group and immediately set his sights on Dominik Mysterio’s titles. Mysterio warned him and stated that this is as close he is going to get to the titles, and he should leave before something bad happens. Danhausen then cursed Mysterio and vanished as mysteriously as he appeared.
Rhea Ripley addresses Jade Cargill

Jackie Redmond welcomed the winner of the 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber as Rhea Ripley made her entrance, accompanied by Iyo Sky. Redmond congratulated her on the victory and asked how she felt about the opponent she would face at WrestleMania: Jade Cargill.
Rhea reflected on the whirlwind of emotions she had experienced, including losing the Women’s Tag Team titles. She then praised Iyo, explaining what her friend meant to her. Ripley shared that Iyo had helped pull her out of a very dark period, to which Iyo replied that she had received the same support in return.
Iyo added that she would be fine on Raw and encouraged Rhea to go on and win the title at WrestleMania. Rhea vowed to do it for Iyo and asked her to hold down Raw in her absence. She then announced that on Friday, she would face Jade Cargill on SmackDown, and at WrestleMania, she would walk away as the Women’s World Champion.
Grade: B+
Insights & Backstage Moments:
- Seems like the exchange on social media with Jade has lit a fire in Rhea Ripley, and the intensity shows she might not be holding anything back against the current champion.
Dominik Mysterio (c) vs Penta – Intercontinental title match
For the first time since his return from injury, Dominik Mysterio defended the Intercontinental title against Penta. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh were ringside during the match, and despite Penta’s assumption, they didn’t interfere. However, when things got tough, Dirty Dom asked JD to bring the timekeeper’s bell hammer.
McDonagh brought out the hammer, but Balor stepped in, reminding him that Dominik had insisted he would handle things on his own and that JD needed to let him do so. Penta then launched himself over the ropes, taking out both Balor. As Mysterio lined up Penta for the 619, Penta countered and followed up with the Mexican Destroyer, pinning the champion to capture his first WWE title.
Winner & New: Penta
Grade: B
Match Insights & Backstage Moments:
- Well, the Danhausen curse did its thing again; however, the outcome never felt predicted due to the segment, and it kept fans engaged.
- With the win, Penta captured his first title in the WWE since his blockbuster debut in January 2025.
Another promo battle between Roman Reigns & CM Punk

Roman Reigns asked the Indianapolis crowd to acknowledge him, and the audience responded by throwing ones into the sky. CM Punk then interrupted, appearing with visible bruises from his title defense against Finn Bálor the previous Saturday. Punk questioned why Reigns was “mean-mugging” him. He acknowledged Reigns but hoped that Reigns came here for more because it could just have been a tweet.
Reigns asked if his tweet had gotten under Punk’s skin. Punk replied that it hadn’t and that he didn’t hold grudges over something said on a podcast. He explained that the bags under his eyes were from having to deal with Reigns’ nonsense all the way to WrestleMania. Punk then fired up the crowd, reminding them of the history between them, the Shield debut, and the night he “brought Reigns to the dance.”
Reigns countered, claiming Punk had only brought the other two, not him. Punk argued that while he may not have chosen Reigns, Reigns had certainly chosen him, and anyone who asked would know Punk had already won. He said he had Reigns under his skin and that it was clear he could see right through him.
Reigns admitted that he hated Punk, but claimed that without the title, Punk wouldn’t even be on his radar. He mocked Punk, saying WWE brought him back to entertain “30-40-year-old virgins living with their moms” or to sell a house in Chicago, but not to be champion, because that was beyond his pay grade.
Roman then called Punk a liar, claiming Punk tried to present himself as a locker room leader and veteran, but in reality, he was whining backstage and unfit to be champion. He went on to say that Punk was nothing more than a “Punk ass b***h” to him, and that at WrestleMania, the backup plan would end.
Reigns promised that when he retained the title, he would send Punk on a John Cena-style retirement tour, then to NXT to teach the next generation, and finally back to the Tribal Chief, who would “smash each and every one.”
As Reigns started to leave, Punk grabbed him by the arms and fired back, asking who the “we” Reigns had referenced was. Punk declared that Reigns was alone, with no Shield or Wiseman to support him. Punk asserted that he was the champion who ran things and that Reigns could not accomplish anything on his own.
Punk stated that Reigns could hate him all he wanted, but he would not allow himself to be disrespected. He warned that Reigns had made the list and that he would bury him, next to his father. Punk then left the ring as Reigns stood in the center, visibly irked and fuming with anger, as the show came to a close.
Grade: A+
Insights & Backstage Moments:
- WWE is slow-cooking this absolute banger of a feud, and the introduction of Reigns’ family by Punk is going to make things personal.
- The fallout episode felt like we’re in WrestleMania season, and WWE needs to deliver such an episode to drum up excitement among fans, which is at an all-time low.
