WWE Raw Summary and Highlights
CM Punk and Jey Uso face off

Jey Uso kicked off the show, welcomed the crowd, and stated that he had a lot of people in his ear, but at that moment, he didn’t give a damn about what anyone thought about him. It was all about him, and he was going to be the World Heavyweight Champion.
CM Punk interrupted the promo and said he was happy for Jey, as Jey was finally listening to himself instead of the noise from Jimmy and Roman. Punk acknowledged that he and Jey were friends and admitted that he knew Jey had what it took, as he had witnessed Jey throwing his own brother off the top rope.
Punk then asked how far Jey was willing to go, reminding him that Punk didn’t just want to be the World Champion again; he needed to be the Champion, and he knew exactly how far he was willing to go.
Punk reiterated the question while cutting a promo for their upcoming clash. Jey responded with, “Let’s go, Punk!” and said that Punk was painting the picture like Jey was the bad guy, but on Saturday, he promised to show four letters, one word – “Uh uh… YEET!”.
Grade: C
Moments & Insights:
- Without any real storyline behind this matchup, the promo felt bland, and while Punk tried to bring some depth into the promo, the segment did not help in creating any excitement for the match.
- Backstage, Dominik Mysterio expressed his frustration over the upcoming No. 1 Contender’s Match. His attitude disappointed Balor and McDonagh, who refused to help him, while Roxanne Perez was focused on preparing for her own match. Mysterio phoned someone for help to end the segment.
Penta vs Rusev – #1 Contenders match for the Intercontinental Championship
In the first match of the show, Rusev and Penta locked horns in a number one contender’s match for the Intercontinental title. Penta started strong, but Rusev took control before the commercial break. Rusev caught Penta mid-air with a Machka kick, while Penta delivered the Penta Driver, but both failed to seal the victory.
Los Americanos (El Grande, Rayo & Bravo Americanos) arrived, attacking both Rusev and Penta to cause the double disqualification. Rusev fought back, taking out Rayo and Bravo as El Grande ate a big boot by Penta, but managed to escape with the help of Rayo and Bravo to escape further punishment.
Result: Double DQ
Grade: B
Match Insights & Backstage Moments:
- Backstage, LA Knight was asked what’s next for him after losing in the Battle Royal last week. Knight stated that he still has his sights set on the World Heavyweight Championship.
- Backstage, Bron Breakker had a hard time sticking to Paul Heyman’s plan, questioning why they hadn’t just caused chaos after being eliminated from the battle royal. Heyman admitted he loved the idea but explained that it would have consequences, noting that it could have further angered Adam Pearce, who might have suspended them without pay. Heyman then informed Breakker that he had a match that night against LA Knight.
- WWE aired a promo celebrating Asuka’s 10 years with the company, highlighting her amazing career.
- In another segment, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh approached Adam Pearce to request a rematch for the Tag Team Championships. Pearce told them that they already had a match scheduled for the night, with one of them set to face Sheamus. McDonagh stepped up to take the challenge.
Nikki Bella vs Roxanne Perez
In the second match of the show, Nikki Bella battled Roxanne Perez in a singles match. An interference from Raquel Rodriguez before the commercials helped Perez, who started targeting Bella’s head and neck, trying to exploit a previous injury.
Bella managed to get back into the match despite interferences from Rodriguez, but Perez sent her neck-first into the turnbuckle and delivered the Pop Rox to bag the win. After the match, Rodriguez attacked Bella, until Stephanie Vaquer rushed in to make the save. Vaquer checked on Bella as Raquel came face-to-face with her. Bella joined Vaquer’s side, prompting Raquel to retreat.
Winner: Roxanne Perez
Grade: C
Match Insights & Backstage Moments:
- Nikki is still somewhat struggling with some ring-rust and needs to participate in more matches to get back to speed against younger stars.
- Backstage, The Kabuki Warriors confronted Lyra Valkyria, accusing her of cutting in line for a Tag Team Title opportunity, though Lyra insisted she had nothing to do with it. Bayley then revealed that the Tag Team Title match was the surprise she had promised Lyra the previous week.
- In another segment, Jimmy Uso confronted Jey, furious over Jey’s claim that it was all about him and for eliminating him last week. Jey tried to brush it off, saying he was only aiming for LA Knight, but Jim wasn’t having it. He tore into Jey for being selfish and told him that if he truly believed in himself, he wouldn’t be so afraid to see what happens when the two of them finally face each other.
Bron Breakker vs LA Knight
As Paul Heyman announced, Bron Breakker and LA Knight locked horns in a singles match, both aiming for the ultimate prize, the World Heavyweight Championship. Breakker retaliated with a Gorilla Press on the announce desk after Knight’s offense in the early going.
Knight managed to mount a comeback late in the match, despite the distraction from Bronson Reed. As Knight went for the flying elbow, Breakker ducked to deliver his trademark Spear and pinned Knight to pick up the win.

Sheamus is looking for some payback from the Judgment Day after they eliminated him in the Battle Royal, battled JD McDonagh. Sheamus kicked off the match with anger, delivering crushing blows and even taking out Balor for interfering in the match. However, another interference by Balor helps McDonagh take control of the match.
Sheamus wounds on top again, but Balor puts McDonagh’s boots on the ropes to break the pin. Irked by the interferences, Sheamus confronted Balor and went for the Celtic Cross, when McDonagh intercepted. Sheamus sent JD crashing into the barrier before going up top for the finish. Balor attacked Sheamus with his own shellaleigh. McDonagh capitalized to deliver the Spanish Fly from the top rope to pin Sheamus.
Winner: JD McDonagh

Pearce told her to call him when she was ready, and he would make it happen.
- Jackie Redmond was interviewing Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss when The Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka) interrupted, saying they should be the Tag Team Champions. Flair says that they can have a match after they’re done with Bayley and Lyra.
Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss (c) vs Bayley & Lyra Valkyria – WWE Women’s Tag-Team titles match
In the main event of the show, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss defended the Women’s Tag Team titles against the team of Bayley and Lyra Valkyrai. Both teams jostled for control, with both Flair and Lyra saving the pin multiple times.
