Austin Theory push & Omos in AAA

According to Wrestling Observer Radio‘s Dave Meltzer, the primary reason behind Austin Theory’s continued push in WWE is the company’s belief that he has an exceptional look, which is why he’s been given multiple opportunities.
Per Fightful, WWE is pleased with the response Omos received during his appearance in AAA, and additional international appearances could be on the horizon.
Becky Lynch vs Maxxine Dupri & Jerry “The King” Lawler

According to F4WOnline‘s Bryan Alvarez, Becky Lynch is expected to regain the Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Maxxine Dupri on the January 5 episode of Monday Night Raw.
The January 5, 2026, episode of Raw is set to emanate live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The show will also mark the one-year anniversary of the Red Brand on Netflix.
Following WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler’s comments about wanting to wrestle one more match, Fightful reports there is “zero percent chance” WWE would ever clear him to do so.
Additionally, Jim Ross revealed on his Grilling JR podcast that he recently spent time with Lawler and does not believe it would be possible for him to compete in another match, even outside of WWE.
Blake Monroe’s injury

Fightful Select reports that several sources indicated NXT’s Blake Monroe was dealing with an injury and was frustrated following the botched sequence that resulted in her dropping the North American Championship to Thea Hail.
Those involved in Monroe’s creative direction were also reportedly unhappy with how the incident unfolded and moved quickly to advocate for a rematch. At this time, the extent of Monroe’s injury remains unclear.
One source familiar with the situation noted that referee Felix Fernandez initially faced some criticism for not checking on Monroe after she was hurt. However, NXT leadership, including Shawn Michaels, Matt Bloom, and other officials, were said to have reassured Fernandez that he handled the situation appropriately.
“A number of sources have claimed that Blake Monroe said she was injured after the spot, and specifically was unhappy about how things unfolded.
It was also claimed that people who directly work on Blake Monroe’s creative weren’t happy. Monroe had told some she was injured on the spot in the first Hail match. We aren’t sure of the severity.”
