Update on Seth Rollins
Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that Seth Rollins was always planned to do an injury angle at the July 12 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Rollins suffered a freak injury during his singles match against LA Knight at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The Visionary tweaked his knee during a spot when he was going for a moonsault from the ropes; due to the injury, an audible call was made during the match.
Meltzer also claimed that the plan calls for Rollins to cash in on the Gunther vs CM Punk winner at SummerSlam, which likely will be Punk, and win the world heavyweight championship. Gunther is set to defend the World Heavyweight title against Punk at the WWE SummerSlam next month.

According to Dave Meltzer, hip-hop star Travis Scott was originally planned for a major role at the 2025 edition of SummerSlam, but “it fell apart.” Metlzer also pointed out that country star Jelly Roll got the spot instead.
Jelly Roll is set to team up with fellow Tennessean native Randy Orton to battle the team of Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul at the biggest party of the summer.
Michael Cole & Jimmy Uso’s transfer

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp has theorized that ‘Big Jim’ Jimmy Uso will soon move over to the Monday Night Raw roster now that his wife, Naomi, is on the Red brand.
Naomi successfully cashed in during the Iyo Sky vs Rhea Ripley main event clash at Evolution 2 and captured the Women’s World title. She is now involved in storylines on the Red brand and is set to defend the title at SummerSlam in a triple threat match against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley.
According to a recent report from PW Insider, the current plan is for Joe Tessitore to transfer to Monday Night Raw and Michael Cole to Friday Night SmackDown during football season. This is due to Tessitore’s commitments elsewhere during that time period.
