Drew McIntyre’s passport issues

Drew McIntyre is in danger of missing SummerSlam 2025 due to a bizarre travel hiccup. The Scottish Warrior revealed on social media that he was denied entry onto his flight to the U.S., citing identification issues that prevented him from returning stateside for the massive event.

PW Insider has confirmed that this is an actual problem that WWE is actively trying to fix, and McIntyre is truly stranded in the UK.

According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE sources are optimistic that the situation will be sorted in time for SummerSlam.

“WWE sources we spoke to feel confident it will be rectified, although they obviously weren’t pleased that McIntyre is going through the situation,” the report noted.

Major changes to SmackDown & Apollo Crews injury update

According to a report from Fightful Select, significant changes were made to last week’s SmackDown following the death of Hulk Hogan. WWE aimed to bring in numerous talents to honor him, but some of those who wished to attend couldn’t arrive in time.

Fightful also reports that Apollo Crews is still recovering from his torn pec and is still listed as injured on WWE’s internal list.

Cora Jade’s OnlyFans success

Former NXT star, Cora Jade (Elayna Black), was released from her contract in May 2025 and started an OnlyFans account shortly after her release. Jade joined the list of many former WWE stars who create OnlyFans accounts almost immediately after being released.

Discussing the same on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that this is no longer just a side hustle; it’s becoming a calculated business move behind the scenes for female stars in pro wrestling.

“This will be the new path for many women who are attractive and will get more common, learn to wrestle, make it onto TV, build a fan base, and start the OnlyFans, There are women already planning their exits and others who know it’s there.”
