Speculations and rumors are among some of the favorite pastimes for WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling. In the aftermath of WrestleMania 41, the rumor mill continues to run in full force.
In today’s edition of the rumor roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including Trish Stratus’ return, Seth Rollins’ faction name, and Mr. Iguana’s comments on skipping NXT.
Trish Stratus’ return & The Miz going on American Gladiators
According to WrestleVotes, WWE Hall of Fame star Trish Stratus is “coming to SmackDown next week.” This will be her first appearance since Elimination Chamber 2025 PLE, where she teamed up with Tiffany Stratton to battle the team of Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
The June 20 episode of WWE SmackDown will emanate live from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that there were concerns from one side about The Miz being on the show, the American Gladiators, as well as AEW talent appearing on the same program. The report adds that these issues were likely never anticipated by the Gladiators team.
Seth Rollins’ faction name
In addition to the report that Seth Rollins is working with a mainstream artist on his new entrance song. BodySlam.net’s Cory Hays also mentioned that Rollins’ faction, which consists of Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed, is expected to receive its official WWE name soon.
Heyman betrayed Roman Reigns and CM Punk to align with Rollins at WrestleMania 41, Bron Breakker joined the faction on Raw after WrestleMania, while Reed made his return on the May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event and aligned with Rollins.
Mr. Iguana’s comments on skipping NXT
Following an interview with Línea Directa TV, there was some confusion regarding Iguana’s status with WWE, after he claimed that the promotion had informed him he would skip NXT and go straight to the main roster.
As per Dave Meltzer, Iguana quickly faced backlash for those comments, prompting the interview to be edited to remove that portion.
Fightful Select adds that Iguana is “finalizing a deal with WWE.” The Mexican star mesmerised the fans during his appearance at Worlds Collide 2025 and was also featured in a promo on Raw this week.
The Dungeon Dolls
According to WrestleVotes Radio, there are plans for Natalya and Maxxine Dupri to wrestle as a tag team going forward. The report also adds that they will possibly use the name “The Dungeon Dolls,” and the promotion is working to get the name legally cleared right now.
Natalya and Dupri are both assigned to Monday Night Raw and have been working together in backstage segments. The two have teamed up once in the Women’s Tag Team Title #1 Contendership Gauntlet match on SmackDown in April.
