Cultaholic has also reported that WWE has approached Shaheen for an upcoming tryout. Shaheen is the first Emirati wrestler to represent the UAE overseas.
Additionally, according to Fightful Select, WWE has “significant interest” in signing Zozaya following his performance at a recent tryout. Fightful isn’t sure of any word on PROGRESS World Champion Luke Jacobs, with their sources both claiming he will be signing with WWE and others claiming he won’t.
Worlds Collide & Candice LeRae
TKO’s On Location is now selling meet & greet tickets for Worlds Collide featuring Rey Fenix, El Hijo del Vikingo, Psycho Clown, and Pagano, which has fueled speculation that all four may be part of the first AAA/WWE event in Los Angeles on June 7.
Worlds Collide will be a cross-branded event co-produced by WWE NXT and its Mexican subsidiary Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). The event is set for June 7 at The Forum in Los Angeles. It was originally hosted by WCW in the early 1990s, the event helped introduce lucha libre to a global audience.
Former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Candice LeRae has been absent from WWE programming since her tag team match alongside Nia Jax at Elimination Chamber 2025. LeRae has since then only appeared during WWE Speed taping, where she lost the Speed Championship at the hands of Sol Ruca.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, LeRae is still with the Stamford-based promotion. However, he has no clear answer for why she has been absent from programming for so long.
