Let’s discuss the latest WWE rumors making the rounds among fans on social media!

Speculations and rumors are among some of the favorite pastimes for WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling. In the aftermath of WWE SNME May 2025, the rumor mill continues to run in full force.

In today’s edition of the rumor roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including an update on Saudi Arabia holding Super WrestleMania, top star getting called up to main roster from NXT, update on John Laurinaitis chaging sides in Vince McMahon case & more.

WWE potentially hosting a ‘Super WrestleMania’ in Saudi Arabia

An update has emerged about WWE’s prospective staging of a WrestleMania event in Saudi Arabia, with next year’s event shifting places.

There has been much conjecture regarding the future host city, with WrestleMania 42 being moved from replacement Orleans and its replacement site still to be announced.

While Las Vegas appears to be the most likely venue for WWE’s Show of Shows, other overseas locales have been reported to host future WrestleMania events.

One of these possibilities is Saudi Arabia, whose General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Alalshikh has already expressed an interest in hosting WrestleMania.

Fightful Select has issued an update on this prospect, stating that they have not heard of any plans for a WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia in the next years.

According to the source, a former WWE employee believes that if WWE does this big event in Saudi Arabia, it will be later in the year and titled “Super WrestleMania,” similar to the 2018 “Greatest Royal Rumble” event.

While WWE has yet to announce the site, earlier sources have claimed that WrestleMania 42 will be held in Las Vegas, one year after WrestleMania 41 took place at Allegiant Stadium.

After Stephanie Vaquer & Jordynne Grace, Ricky Saints handed main roster call-up

Ricky Saints’ time in NXT looks to be up. The former AEW Tag Team Champion made his WWE debut in February, first going by “Ricky Starks” until changing his name to “Ricky Saints.” Since then, he has taken WWE NXT by storm, becoming as one of the program’s top talents.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer stated Friday morning that Saints is anticipated to be promoted to the main roster soon. This follows a surprising loss against Ethan Page on WWE NXT, during which he lost the NXT North American Championship.

Meltzer reports that the Saints’ call-up will most likely be alongside Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace, as announced earlier this week. Vaquer also suffered a surprise loss on NXT, losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Jacy Jayne in what is now regarded as one of the program’s most shocking upsets.

John Laurinaitis flipping in the Vince McMahon – Janel Grant lawsuit

Sources close to Vince McMahon have confirmed that it wasn’t “unexpected” that John Laurinaitis flipped during the case.

WON reports, “One person close to the situation said it wasn’t unexpected that John Laurinaitis flipped in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against WWE & Vince McMahon.”

This comes after John Laurinaitis was removed from Janel Grant’s lawsuit against WWE & Vince McMahon. Grant’s attorneys filed a motion to dismiss Laurinaitis from the lawsuit “with prejudice,” which means Grant cannot pursue her allegations against him in the future. Grant’s staff also issued a statement to Thurston, claiming to speak for both her and Laurinaitis:

“John Laurinaitis has agreed to cooperate and provide evidence in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE. His agreement to a confidential settlement is a pivotal next step toward holding McMahon and WWE accountable and bringing justice to Ms. Grant after years of sexual abuse and trafficking. Mr. Laurinaitis looks forward to moving on with his life. We cannot provide any additional details at this time.”
