Speculation and rumors are among the favorite pastimes of WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling. In the aftermath of the Crown Jewel 2025, the rumor mill continues to run in full force.
In today’s edition of the roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including Creative plans for Austin Theory, Santos Escobar’s return, Ads on Netflix, Ivar & Xavier Woods’ absence, and more.
Creative plans for Austin Theory

According to WrestleVotes, despite Seth Rollins’ injury, some in WWE are still advocating for Austin Theory to remain part of creative plans. The report also confirmed that discussions had taken place about Theory joining The Vision before Rollins’ injury, and he still has strong internal support to make a major return to TV soon.
Theory has been absent from WWE programming since July due to an undisclosed injury. He was removed from the active roster and moved to the internal injury list.
Santos Escobar’s return

According to PW Insider, Santos Escobar is set to appear on next Monday’s Raw in Anaheim. This will mark his first appearance since re-signing with WWE after his contract briefly expired earlier this month.
The October 27 episode of Monday Night Raw is set to emanate live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Ads on Netflix

According to BodySlam Net, Netflix is reportedly introducing ads for WWE programming globally, not just in the U.S. Several international markets have already begun seeing ad breaks during WWE shows.
Additionally, Fightful Select reports that WWE and Netflix are discussing the possibility of moving Raw’s start time back to 7 PM ET for a few episodes in December and January. However, the report notes that nothing is confirmed yet.
Ivar & Xavier Woods’ absence
Bryan Alvarez, via his subscription on X, explained that Ivar and Xavier Woods were absent from Raw’s battle royal, unlike their tag partners, due to pre-planned vacations. Woods had already shared that he was in Italy at the time.
Ivar’s tag partner, Erik, and Woods’ tag partner, Kofi Kingston, took part in the World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contenders Battle Royal on the October 20 episode of Raw, which was won by Jey Uso.
Changes to Seth Rollins’ World Title Segment On RAW
In the opening moments of the October 20 show of Raw, GM Adam Pearce stripped Seth Rollins of the World Heavyweight title, following his shoulder injury, which he suffered during the Crown Jewel title match against Cody Rhodes.
According to TC of WrestleVotes Radio, the segment that aired was not what the promotion had initially planned.
“A source backstage at #WWERaw in Sacramento tells me there were a lot of late changes to the opening segment where Adam Pearce stripped Seth Rollins of the World Heavyweight Championship. Original plans had things playing out differently than what we ultimately saw on screen,” the report stated.
Additionally, according to internal WWE documents cited by Fightful Select, NXT’s Deadline Premium Live Event (PLE) is scheduled for December 6 in San Antonio.
Is Santos Escobar returning to WWE?
Yes, Escobar is set to appear on next Monday’s Raw in Anaheim. This will mark his first appearance since re-signing with WWE after his contract briefly expired earlier this month.

Per WrestleVotes, despite Seth Rollins’ injury, some in WWE are still advocating for Austin Theory to remain part of creative plans.
