Let’s discuss the latest rumors making the rounds among fans on social media!

Speculations and rumors are among some of the favorite pastimes for WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling. In the aftermath of WrestleMania 41, the rumor mill continues to run in full force.

In today’s edition of the rumor roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including technical difficulties during SmackDown, CM Punk getting booed, Hikuleo in Riyadh, and more.

CM Punk getting booed in Saudi Arabia

According to Fightful Select, the Stamford-based promotion expected CM Punk to get booed during the Night of Champions Kickoff show in Saudi Arabia on Friday and “prepared accordingly” for it.

Punk was greeted with a lot of boos and hostility during the kick off show arrival as well as during his appearance at the show. Many fans also wanted him to apologize for the infamous tweet where he was publicly critical of The Miz tweeting, “go suck a blood money covered d*ck in Saudi Arabia you f*cking dork”.

However, Punk during his appearance didn’t shy away from the controversy and took it head-on by addressing a fan who wanted him to apologize for the tweet.

The Second City Saint stated that the tweet had nothing to do with Saudi Arabia, it was just a mean tweet to The Miz, and he apologised for it. He also apologized to the Saudi fans, who responded by showering him with love, seemingly offering their forgiveness. Punk even went into the crowd to embrace the fan.

SmackDown’s technical difficulties

Last night’s episode of SmackDown was impacted by technical difficulties in the opening moments, as the stream on Netflix froze for over 25 minutes. The unexpected interruption left fans frustrated and confused, with many taking to social media to express their disappointment.

As per PWInsider, there was a power loss in Riyadh that affected production, including the control room and Gorilla. The issue was not from Netflix or WWE’s side, but rather an issue originating at the venue itself. The report adds that the show’s production was stopped, so international viewers did not miss anything while the stream was out.

PWInsider further notes that multiple matches had their time cut on the show last night due to the lengthy power outage that caused technical difficulties early in the broadcast.

Hikuleo spotted in Riyadh & Karrion Kross not taking a bump

As per PWInsider, Hikuleo was spotted yesterday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,  leading to speculation that he may be on the show today at Night of Champions.

Jacob Fatu is set to defend the United States Championship against Solo Sikoa, and many fans are speculating that Hikuleo’s main roster debut during the match.

In response to a recent rumor suggesting that Karrion Kross avoids taking flat back bumps, Fightful Select reached out to “multiple” producers who have worked on his matches. According to them, “that has never been an issue they’ve encountered.”

In a recent conversation with The National, Kross dismissed the rumors and laughed at one fabricated story about him quitting Raw with a live shoot promo. Kross stated that he usually doesn’t respond to such rumors, noting that wild claims about him surface nearly every week.

“I thought out of all the crazy articles that are fabricated about me every week, that was the weakest. There was another wild one I saw last week that was even funnier.

It said something like, ‘Karrion Kross is going to come to Monday Night Raw and he’s going to quit and do a shoot promo live, and then walk out.’ I thought that was a good one. But I don’t really respond to any of them. There’s a crazy one about me every week or two. You just kind of have to laugh.”
