WWE SmackDown after SummerSlam 2026 – LIVE streaming, TV channel, start time & where to watch

WWE SmackDown tonight marks Kevin Owens’ return to the Blue brand.

Live from the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, tonight’s edition of  Friday Night SmackDown will address the aftermath of SummerSlam 2026 that concluded this past weekend in Minneapolis, featuring multiple returns and major developments.

The PLE saw Kevin Owens return to become the number one contender for the Undisputed title, and CM Punk retain the title against Cody Rhodes after Randy Orton’s interference, while Baron Corbin defeated Trick Williams to become the new US Champion.

Kevin Owens, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Gunther and Trick Williams are listed as featured superstars for the show.

Charlotte Flair and Jade Cargill are set to square off in a grudge match on this week’s show. Flair has been seeking revenge after Jade viciously attacked and sidelined her tag team partner, Alexa Bliss.

Their rivalry intensified during last week’s episode, where the two brawled both before and during the ladder match. Following the chaos, Flair told acting General Manager Adam Pearce in a WWE digital exclusive that she wanted a singles match against Jade. Pearce subsequently made the bout official.

Also confirmed for the show are Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk and the number 1 contender Kevin Owens. Owens earned the title opportunity by winning the Fatal Four-Way Match at SummerSlam, setting up a future championship clash with Punk. ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton is also confirmed to appear.

Meanwhile, Chelsea Green is scheduled to make her first SmackDown appearance since winning the Interim WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam Night 2. With Rhea Ripley recovering from surgery and speculation continuing over the status of the WWE Women’s Championship, all eyes will be on the newly crowned interim champion.
