The SummerSlam fallout show of SmackDown will emanate live from Montreal!

The 2025 edition of WWE SummerSlam concluded this past weekend and edged its place in the history books being the biggest and the first-ever two-night SummerSlam, a format previously reserved only for WrestleMania.

After delivering the fallout show of Monday Night Raw, WWE will deliver the fallout show of Friday Night SmackDown. The fallout show of the Blue brand is set to air live from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Multiple top names, including John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Tiffany Stratton, Jacob Fatu, and La Knight, are being advertised for the show. Let us now take a look at the detailed preview for this week’s WWE SmackDown.

The newly crowned WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, is set to address the WWE Universe this week. Rhodes defeated John Cena in the rematch from WrestleMania 41 to win the title. The match took place on the main event of Night 2 of SummerSlam 2025.

John Cena to appear live

The 17-time WWE World Champion, John Cena, not only lost the title at SummerSlam, but also was attacked by Brock Lesnar, who made his earth-shattering return during the final moments of the show after the main event. Cena will likely address the attack and would likely kick off his feud with Lesnar, only this time fans would get the ‘real’ John Cena.
