Furthermore, the edition will be headlined by a major Undisputed WWE title match with a unique stipulation. So here are five potential spoilers for WWE SmackDown tonight:
5. Carmelo Hayes becomes No.1 contender

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown will feature a US Title No. 1 contender’s match between Ricky Saint and Carmelo Hayes. Fans could expect an evenly matched, hard-hitting bout and see Hayes emerge victorious, moving on to face the champion Trick Williams at Night of Champions 2026.

4. MFTs become new WWE Tag Team Champions

Damian Priest and R-Truth are set to defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against MFTs Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga on SmackDown tonight.
In a back-and-forth tag match, Solo Sikoa is likely to interfere and could help his cohorts win and bring the tag titles back to his family, who, despite losing two members during the recent layoff after WrestleMania, is looking to regain control of the brand.
3. Charlotte Flair reaches the finals

Liv Morgan and Charlotte Flair are set to compete in the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament on SmackDown this week.
The highly anticipated showdown between the two top stars could end in Flair’s victory with the help of her partner, Alexa Bliss, who could diffuse the threat of Morgan’s allies from the Judgment Day.
2. Jey Uso beats Je’Von Evans

On the Men’s side, Jey Uso will square off against Je’Von Evans in the King of the Ring tournament semi-finals. While the Young OG might have the momentum and athleticism, Main Event Jey might get help from his brother, Jacob Fatu, and lead Uso to the tournament finals by beating Evans on SmackDown tonight.
1. Sami Zayn helps Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes is slated to defend the Undisputed WWE title against Gunther in a rematch from Clash in Italy. However, this time, Sami Zayn will act as the Special Guest Referee as selected by the Ring General.
Despite major tensions between Rhodes and Zayn in recent weeks, both men have the same heat for Gunther. This could see the Last Real Good Guy helping Rhodes retain his title. However, he could attack him after that, setting the stage for a singles title match between them.
